Hey guys! Nick here <3 I don't have a lot to talk about yet but I do want to just bring up some of the initial things that's been going on in the game. I'm still a bit in shock that I'm even here but now that I am I'm ready to play :) I just have to pray to dem survivor gods so I don't become the first boot... that'd be embarrassing as fuck, haha. My goal is at least final 14, but I'd be incredibly happy if I managed to make it to jury.

So, last night was pretty overwhelming as I'm sure you may have noticed xD I'm probably making this a bigger deal than it really is but because in my mind sausage is such a big series, even being in it is pretty awesome, but coming in late I was really worried that the tribe I was joining would already have iced me out. Thankfully that doesn't seem to be the case. I like to think I'm pretty good at reading people and while some people seem a little reserved with me overall the dynamic of the tribe doesn't feel like I'm guaranteed 1st boot (although that could very well change). Here's my take on the tribe so far:



Haven't talked to her yet. I really don't have any read on her so far so idk what to expect... hopefully she can be an ally, not an enemy.



Chet I talked to briefly, he seemed pretty enthusiastic to talk to me which is great, but we didn't talk for long because he had to jet. I plan on talking to him more tonight and trying to see if he could be an ally.



Now, I know Angie is Ed (because shes using her main SN). It'd be a lie to say that Ed and I are close or anything but we do know each other, but I'm trying to stay 100% alias in this game so he doesn't know who I am. He didn't seem all that talkative which makes me nervous but imma try and talk to him again after the challenge and hope he wants to talk more!



I talked to Peih-Gee for a fair bit last night and she seems cool, pretty fun to talk to. I think I could develop a good rapport with her which I def want to cuz right now she's one of my favorites on the tribe. I'm still a little wary though because even though she's fun to talk to I can tell she's a little wary of opening up to me, but i'm not going to push anything (yet) til she trusts me.



John is also really cool, I like him a lot atm. He and I talked for a while last night and we're talking right now too, nothing strategical has come up but I'd like to hopefully start something with him, or if he's already in something maybe he can invite me into it. He's cool and I definitely hope we can work together.



I didn't talk to Laura until today but she seems pretty cool, and as desperate as I am for an alliance because apparently she was a replacement too :o and was gone on a family trip so can relate to the nerve-racking feeling of potentially being an outsider. She proposed an alliance pretty quickly and I said yes, I don't feel too much allegiance to her yet but if I could pull her and 2 others together that'd be great, but if my safety comes with her elimination I may have to backstab her :/ I don't think I would have many other options unfortunately

Right now my strategy is basically the same as what I said last night in my pre-game questions: make friends and hope that someone decides to take me in to a bigger group. If not then I just have to prove myself to the tribe and convince them that I'm an asset, otherwise I think I could be fucked :/ I hate to be so paranoid and I hope i'm over-exaggerating but I don't think I am. :s

Speaking of the pre-game questions, idk why the fuck I thought butterfly was the best word to describe my gameplay...like what? Butterfly? I was more tired than I thought I was because I think I could've thought of -something- better than that. I guess I better represent the butterflies well now or I might as well change it to shittyfly >_>

Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Time for an update!

First off, the challenge is going really well for our tribe. We're having a lot of fun in our AIM chat and we hope to gwad that the tribe loses. Literally the only reason we're even targeting them is because they had more online than . We have made a few posting mistakes but overall we've done well and we're getting better (we got 5 in the last hour motherfuckers) and everyone's been helping out... with the exception of . Idk where she is but she ~said~ she'd be here when it started so the fact she hasn't shown up at all is... bad. Well not for me as much for her, but it'd still be nice if we could get some contribution out of her. Yes, I am in an alliance with her but I'm not in any position to start making waves by trying to save the weak link :/. She's sweet but my allegiance to her isn't that strong so if she has to go, she has to go. :(

Anyways, the challenge is going strong and it'be great if we could avoid TC for the first round, mainly for two reasons: it'd give us some great morale as a tribe, and it gives me more time to solidify my position in the tribe and keep me from going. HOWEVER, I have good news about that: I'm no longer as worried about being the guy on the outs as the "replacement". Obviously I was yesterday and the first day I was in the game, but recent events have changed things. I've been pretty active in the tribe chat as well as in this challenge (my post count has already passed Laura's -_-) and after a few hours of doing the challenge, I decided to summon the courage to try and talk to about what would happen before TC. So far I've been trying to keep the strategy talk to the minimum and focus more on getting to know people, but the last thing I want to end up doing is screwing myself because I didn't scramble at all. At first she threw out :Laura:'s name (which I expected) but later opened up more and said "honestly, I think it's between and :Laura:". <3 Fine by me. I've tried talking to a fair amount but she just isn't responsive. She's kinda funny in the main chat but that's about it, so there'd be no remorse on my part over voting her out. and I continued talking and she mentioned that she really liked me, which is awesome because she's definitely one of my favorites on the tribe. She also mentioned that apparently loves me which is even better because the two of them are definitely the coolest people (although is pretty fun too!). That made me feel 5000% better, and I didn't really push anything strategically but I got major vibes from her about a potential alliance. I'm going to try and talk to her about it tonight. I wasn't able to talk to at all because he wasn't around, his uncle passed yesterday so he was with his family. I was honestly surprised that he even showed up, obvs I'm glad he did but we all would have understood if he hadn't. I hope he's alright :/

A few hours after and I talked, I was talking to both her and privately in AIM, and I randomly got a message from saying "if you were worried about being a replacement, don't worry, you've proven yourself" which was exactly what I needed to hear, and later told me that he was glad I was on the tribe instead of Sarge and that I was a great addition. Boom! I think my strategy of just being fun and likable is working. I do really like and and it'd be awesome if we could all come together. I know that and are on the outs, but the biggest wildcard for me right now is :angie:. I have no idea where her place on the tribe is, I know she's not on the outs, but beyond that I don't really know anything, so I'd like to figure that out.

Either way, this game is getting much better for me and I'm glad I'm getting into good friendships with Chet/PG/John. The other thing I really need to start doing is to start talking to other people on other tribes, the only ones I've met yet is and only because they messaged me first. I don't want to come across as too social to other tribes but I do need to establish my presence in the game, my tribe likes me but everyone else probably still seems me as " that replacement guy. Hopefully that can change <3
