DAY ONE


I was definitely disappointed in my performance in the Captain's challenge. Yeah, it wasn't the most important challenge to win, but I wanted to make a strong first impression. However, I was stuck on a boat with Gillian, who was SOOO slow at posting. I guess that's what happens since Boat 1 was the last to fill up, I got the two slowest posters on my team. It was disappointing, but I was happy with how everything ended up. I made it past the first round, but I didn't have to play in the final leg that involved pushing people off a plank. So I suppose that's okay!!

The person I really wanted to be on a tribe with was Ciera. Even though I know she is obviously a HUGE threat, she is the person I am connecting with the most so far. I'm sure she has many strong social connections, but she did pick me first for her tribe, which does speak for something. When the tribes were revealed, we made our alliance official. And the "Cielly" alliance was born!! She is the perfect person for me to stick with to start off. She picked this tribe, so she obviously chose people that she feels she has a connection with. So people will be going to her for an alliance, and I will be involved for sure! So it is looking good for Kelly so far!

I was also glad to see Dreamz on my tribe. He is another person I felt like I connected with, so I was happy that he ended up on my tribe as well. I don't know how far I will be able to take him, though, because Ciera and I are already talking about making an easy majority with the females on our tribe. I'm not usually prone to alliances simply based on gender, but it is kind of an easy majority to make right now. Even though I felt like Kathy was stupid in the beginning, and I still think she isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, I think Kathy feels close to me. So she is probably a good person to keep around for a while. Also, Danni seems pretty awesome too, and I would love to work with her!

I haven't even had the opportunity to chat with Yau and Rich yet. They haven't been responding to my IMs. Lame. Easy first boots! Haha. Looking at the tribes, I'm not sure if ours is the strongest. We might struggle in the challenges. I have no idea. I definitely don't want to go on a losing streak in the beginning!! Hopefully we can win a few, but I don't think we have any super strong tribe members. So we'll see how it goes.

I think I can sleep soundly tonight. I really feel pretty good with how the tribes ended up, and I have a good feeling about it so far!! Just watch out for Cielly because we're gonna be running this tribe!! :)

DAY TWO


Well things seem to be going pretty well so far. We made I guess kind of a deal with the Lugata tribe to target the Saptano tribe. I don't know if that will work out or not because it was kind of Ciera and I guess maybe Kathy who orchestrated this "alliance" between the two tribes. I am hoping that it guarantees that Saptano will be the ones going to tribal council because I definitely don't want to go!

Besides that, things have been pretty quiet. There hasn't been that much gaming because obviously we haven't really been forced to totally start playing yet. Richard came on for the challenge and is now saying that he is going to stay up until 5am and post because he has to make up for being MIA for the few few days of the game. Like he really hasn't missed out on THAT much. He is making this huge deal about getting a late start to the game, but like this is the first immunity challenge. Lol. Like I don't understand? And he IMs me and is like, "I'm exhausted, but I'm going to push through! I feel like I have to because I have a little making up to do!"

Like he's obviously going out of his way to get credit for staying up so late. Honestly, I could stay up until 5am no problem to post and my ass isn't on the line. You don't work until 1pm, so it isn't like you are making this huge sacrifice for the tribe. I guess it just kind of rubs me the wrong way. It makes him dangerous, to be honest, that he is paranoid of being on the bottom already. If we keep him around, he is just going to feel like he's on the bottom and that is going to be difficult to get out of his head. So we'll see how it goes. I'm just going to focus on the challenge and hopefully not have to go to Tribal Council.
