As soon as the challenge ended, things got pretty awkward really. No one initiated much, but I began hinting to Chet that I liked Nick and felt bad he was a replacement and felt so bad for John because of his uncle passing away… so from there, Chet began hinting toward wanting to work with the four of us, so that works for me! John, Nick, and I were already gearing to work together anyway so it works out perfectly for me, cuz now Chet is gonna think he is the founder of this alliance and think he's in control, but really it's going to be the rest of us. John just said we had to vote one of the girls who we could get a unanimous vote on, so that's what I set out to achieve.

Anyway, after about an hour, John brb'd and then Angie tells me she wants to work with Laura, Chet, and I. She asked me to invite us to a blast chat but I didn't want to be associated with the creation of it, so I told her I didn't know how (I don't really, but I could have figured it out lol). From there, she proceeded to post IN THE TRIBAL CHAT, the following:

Keep in mind that John's response wasn't for another 44 minutes later, when he returned from "brb" and asked me if he should respond. To which, I told him he should - because it'd probably look suspicious if he didn't respond. John was MIA during the conversation between myself, Chet, Laura, and Angie. The girls kind of wanted to vote out John for some reason, though. I guess they felt he did the last or something? But I kinda geared the vote to Gillian so that my tribe can remain united. Gillian is the one person on the tribe I am not involved with in some sort of alliance, and yet I still feel like she looks at me as one of her closest "friends" / allies, so it kind of sucks but I can't lose anyone else right now.

When John came back, I explained everything to him and suggested Gillian leaving 6-1. His response: "RIP Gillian." So, I guess he is down lol. I didn't tell him that the girls wanted him out at all, because I didn't want John to get greedy and push for one of the girls to go, when they are aligned to myself and Chet. I want to keep our tribe united for as long as possible. On top of that, Gillian did the entire challenge from her phone (which I brought up to the girls) so I feel it could become a liability because not all the challenges can be done from a mobile device. The girls agreed, which seemed to be the selling point on Gillian's 6-1 elimination.

I also contemplated pulling Gillian in with the guys to boot Angie, but I'm not sure. I know I said I wanted a united tribe, so a 6-1 decision - but a united tribe is more than just a 6-1 vote. Why? Because if we lose again, then when we vote Angie out, we essentially are isolating Laura with that vote, so we lose two people in 1 vote next time. After TWO tribal councils, we will have lost two members AND lost a potential ally come a swap scenario. ON THE OTHER HAND, if we boot out Angie this round, yeah we isolate Laura right now, but after the second tribal council, we can just vote her out and have five united players going into a tribe swap. I really do anticipate us having to come back to tribal council, so on second thought… roping in Gillian and booting Angie/Laura sounds like it could be the best move.

I feel horrible for her, but there is always hope.

Right now, without Gillian fighting to stay, I think she is a goner, and Chet and I will try to figure something out to rope in Angie/Laura when we boot the other in the upcoming Tribal Council. I just really hope we don't have to lose again and we can go into a swap scenario 6 strong. I'm probably thinking really far in advance, but it's better to be prepared.
