Hello everyone! So my name is Chris (my normal aim is chrispy, clever right?) and I am about to finish up my freshman year at university. I'm on EST (and have a sleep schedule that's basically Alaskan time) and I've made my way around ORG stuff until FINALLY ending up here. I'm excited to flop but I hope that I can at least do it memorably! As far as aliases go:
Zach in RNF 12 (1st)
Amanda K in Epic FvFvF (1st)
Alec in Good and Evil (3rd and 12th)
Matty in TSG (5th both times cuz why not)
And I am Host Chelsea of the Twisted series! If I know you then hi! If I don't know you then I am excited to be able to say hi by the end of the season!

1: Would you describe yourself as a Hero or a Villain?

As a whole, I have to call myself a hero. SURE I can exhibit some vaguely gamebotty tendencies, but I am generally a really friendly guy and fairly loyal to the people I do call friends. I think its way more fun to be heroic, mostly because I'm narcissistic and love to read "oh wow Hunter is AMAZING" "Gosh golly gee I love Hunter" etc etc (I have a feeling that won't be happening here though). DOES that still make me heroic??? Well that's up to you to decide!

2: What's your strategy going to be like?
|
I have a fairly simple strategy for games that most other people also seem to exhibit. Just go into it, talk your face off at the start, make the bonds that can last for a Lóng time, and then when you make it far try to keep branching out to keep your options open. I think this time around I may actually try throwing challenges to make myself look like a weaker player a la Dan Gheesling, mostly because it seemed to work out for me in RNF!

3: What reason did you have for selecting the character you're playing as?

I loved a lot of the cast of Marquesas. It was a really fun season and I think it had a lot of really fun people go early like Gabe, Gina, Hunter, etc. The Rotu 4 were kinda boring outside of Jon Caroll, so it was fun to watch their downfall. Hunter was just an all around nice and likable guy, great in challenges, very little negative things can be said about him, and he seemed to be completely inoffensive. I'd like to think that's a perfect encapsulation of my ORG play style and how I want to play.

4: What's one word you would use to describe your gameplay or personality?

The boring answer is "nice," because I feel like that's the only word people use to describe me lol. However, I think I'm going to go back and say "inoffensive," because I don't think I really do enough to offend someone or get them outright pissed at me (well MOST of the time anyway) for any personal reasons.

5: What do you typically look for in an ally?
|
HONESTLY, I just like allies who I like to talk to and that can have a level head. I don't need them to be a gamebot and frankly I don't WANT them to. I want to be able to have some sort of emotional connection to an ally because 1. It makes me have more fun in games, and 2. It makes it less likely that they may try to cut me when we get to the end if I'm seen as a threat.

6: What makes you unique as a player? How will you use that to your advantage?

I think one of my best qualities is my overall awareness and ability to think about the big picture. I feel like I can get a good read on a person a lot of the time when I talk to them, and I definitely think that I am one to think of slightly more "unorthodox" strategies and ways to complete them. My mind is always racing, I have an at least above average social game, and I am actually fairly good in challenges. All of those things together make me a threat and what I need to do is regulate my visibility.
I'm excited to play! The fact that there are 27 people isn't as big of a deal to me as others I don't think because I feel like I'm used to playing with giant casts by now after so many AS games. What I AM worried about is people alias-spotting me and me inevitably doing that to people, but I'm going to keep it on the DL and try to forget about it.
Finally, are audio confessionals looked at POSITIVELY or is it better to write things out so it's easier to control f and read them wherever you are? I had a cool idea for my confessionals if the audio stuff is fine :)
