Because I'm super type-A, I need to make sure I have a confessional for each round. Soooo, final confessional coming tomorrow, detailing what my strategies WERE going to be with targeting Hunter as the goal. It was such a busy day and it was like the one time that I wasn't able to really be on AIM during the vote buildup to sense anything wrong of course. But oh well, they got me! More thoughts ~soon~

OKAY so howdy y'all for the last time this season. I'm typing this confessional on my phone so I do apologize in advance for any typos I don't notice! Let's get right into it -- when we left off, I was pretty annoyed with Ken/Neal/Liz for being so antisocial with me and then leaving me out of the vote, so during the top twelve round, I went into it with the hope of flipping on that group. Nick, Natalie, Rita and Jenna formed a group together and it seemed pretty organic and like it would have been a promising alliance moving forward. So when we got around to the final 12 vote, I was stuck between an alliance of Hope/Woo/Liz/Kenny/Neal that was arguably defunct, and an alliance with Nat/Nick/Jenna/Rita. In this setup, Hunter and Rachel were not affiliated with any alliance of mine, as clearly we were meant to be on non-intertwining paths throughout this game. During the top 12 TC, the Neal/Kenny/Liz group decided to actually plan earlier than usual, in order to avoid a mess like the previous TC. A few hours before deadline, they decided on Jenna as the target, which I said I was fine with. Over the next while, I heavily debated whether I should expose this alliance of six to the other people in the game-- obviously there was a HUGE chance of that backfiring on me and losing everyone's trust in various ways. But I also knew that I had a promising alliance waiting for me to make this move and so about an hour before deadline, I decided to warn them about the Neal/Kenny/Liz/Woo/Hope group. Obviously they felt compelled into action, and with Jenna as their target, we had to ensure that Hunter and Rachel voted in a way that allowed Jenna to stay. At that time, we ASSUMED that hope and woo were down to work with neal, ken, and Liz, so we thought there were five votes coming Jenna's way. The other problem was that Hunter and Rachel are fucking sketchy as hell and I didn't trust them to work with us. Kenny had been telling me that before, he spoke to Hunter and Hunter said he was down to vote Jenna, so at that point I thought there were already going to be 6-7 votes on Jenna. So we spent a decent amount of time working on Hunter specifically in order to get him to see that a split vote would make the most sense in this scenario. Hunter was under the impression that I was close to Liz/Kenny/Neal, so they left me out of their official plan to split the votes, although my new main alliance filled me in on what was happening. So at that point, the plan was to tell Hunter/Rachel/Hope/Woo to vote Kenny, and then tell those four that Nat/Nick/Rita/Jenna would vote for Neal, and then deal with things from there. In reality, that latter group plus myself would be voting for Kenny. WELL, when results were revealed, everyone who was supposed to vote for Kenny voted for Neal, thus suggesting that those four had a counter plan against my alliance for whatever reason. That group was the four Mushus, and so immediately, I knew that they had to go next. At this point I just played dumb about the vote split and said I was told Kenny last minute by an unnamed source, and just went with it.

NEXT PART IS COMING UP SOOOOON. Just want to submit this in case my phone freaked

So right after Kenny was booted, I knew I had to do some damage control with Neal and Liz. I tried to emphasize to both of them that I still had their backs, and that I heard original Mushu was working together. In fact, two Mushus just betrayed them (Hope and Woo)! Neal seemed pretty open to whatever I could do to help him, and Lizzie had an emotional meltdown to me about herself and tbh I actually cared at the time and was trying to comfort her, but I give no fucks after last night!! I'm sure people will get sick of her constant crying and pity parties soon and boot her, or take her to the end as a goat to be slaughtered by an inevitably bitter jury. Anyway, I digress. So at this point I'm thinking OKAY we can get Liz and Neal on our side, and everything will be cool. Take out Mushu. The majority rules results further SUGGESTED that Mushu was running the show, with Hunter, Hope, Rachel and Woo rather inexplicably winning a bunch of awards. I honestly can't think of a conversation I had with any of the four of them that would dictate the kind of praise they received in majority rules, but apparently the people that they are tight with love them a lot. Good for them on being able to make those connections, but it just sucks that I got the cold shoulder from them more or less.

Majority rules, I thought went really well for me. Usually in MJ, I end up winning a bunch of awards that make me seem like a threat, like jury favorite or biggest hero or biggest challenge threat. This time, I didn't get any of those and it was honestly a relief because I THOUGHT I was comparably irrelevant in the game and was in a position to not be targeted. After all, wouldn't you want to get out these obvious threats first?? So my alliance of Nat/Nick/Rita/Jenna all wanted Hunter gone so we could take out their biggest leader and social threat. We had laid groundwork with lizzie and Neal to also do this, and they seemed interested. As far as I was told, the other side was voting for Liz as an easy boot (probably a fakeout) and it would only make sense for Lizzie and Neal to vote against those who were voting against them, right?? Wrong apparently!! I don't know for sure what happened, although my leading theory is that I was caught playing the middle previously and someone sold me out to the right combo of people, thus convincing Liz and Neal to flip. Was it a dumb decision on their part? Time will tell, but I honestly think it was. Like, in the live tc following my boot, my alliance literally crumbled, whereas the Mushu alliance seems on course to remain tight for a Lóng while. Idk what exactly their thought process was so I'm definitely interested to read about it post season. I thought we had done things pretty well, and made it seem like an anti-Mushu voting block, versus an alliance of five adding numbers, but apparently not. As far as not playing my idol goes, that obviously sucks to have gone home with it in my pocket, but honestly there was no way of me being able to read the tea leaves yesterday, as I explained in my jury questions. I had a very busy evening and was in the middle of driving when the voting deadline happen. I literally just told everyone I was fine with whatever and to just message me so I could vote at like 8:57, which I did. I'm not certain if my absence for that half hour was when the plan to flip the vote on me occurred, or if it was sonething that had been planned earlier. But there would have been no way for me to have time yesterday to figure out i was going home, and play the idol Shórt of a "fuck it" sort of mentality. That would have been hilarious if I had played it for shits and giggles and ended up saving myself last night! Kind of wish I did lol but it's all good. I guess I got Sarah Lacina'd!

But either way, it was a fun ride. Such a great game due to the hosts' amazing dedication, creativity and attention to detail. You guys are fantastic and you should be so proud of the series you created! I was honored to have had a chance to play, and I hope it was a fun ride for yall to watch. Thanks to the PWs for their support! And I can't wait to roast people at FTC. I have a question in mind already!

Sincerely,
Jeremiah (I'm a fashion model!) Wood
