Targets have been located and assets deployed. I sadly failed to secure my own safety which was my goal this round to avoid any more stupidity fucking things up like what happened last round. I had a really solid strategy for the challenge I thought but counting challenges have never been my thing and so I lost. No big deal because that ultimately wasn't the primary mission and I trust in my skills enough to survive this round regardless of whether or not I have a necklace on.

Some talk happened yesterday about this round. I was still a little angry yesterday before I fully underwent my transformation and so it was more of the lively "rah rah" talk about the Sewer Rat Contingency (Neal, Kenny, Liz) starting a war and all of this other stuff. First, the chess piece that I've held fairly close to my side since the beginning wanted to secure something this round.

Posted Image

She was adamant about last round being a wake-up call and us needing to secure something. She said that she liked Hope and Woo and I agreed and so she wanted the four of us to form an alliance. I told her that I was down with it and at the time, simpleminded as I was, I truly did think it was my best move. I was all for the scorched earth, avenge Jaison gameplay. We needed to take out an Anaira this round or the game was over. Another chess piece started forth with the same type of attitude.

Posted Image

He took it even further, claiming that the only way we were going to survive this round is if we lie to Jenna, Jeremiah, and Rita. We can't be sure how involved they were with the last vote and so we have to assume the worst and account for it. We need to tell them that we're voting for one of the Sewer Rat Contingency and then vote for one of the other ones ourselves. This would prevent an idol play, lead to a tie at worst, and would ideally end Anaira's potential reign before it started. Again, I was all for it and needed to take these three out at any cost.

Posted Image

This piece agreed once I talked to her about it and the four of us were ready to attack Anaira once we secured Hunter and Rachel. Everything was falling into place for a war of epic proportions, all for vengeance for Jaison. Then last night I had my transformation. Nick was no more and I was all that remained in his place. At first I agreed that this scorched earth type of gameplay might be the correct course of action. In order to test what Jeremiah, Jenna, and Rita know, we must assume they know all and treat them as such. That way we ensure our own safety as well as determine exactly where in the game they stand.

Now, this round I've been able to get even closer to this piece.

Posted Image

We had been bonding over the past few rounds on a personal level and, since so much of this vote hinged on him and Rachel, I decided to approach the subject and attempt to secure him. He admitted to me that he didn't feel too comfortable lying to an entire group of 3 and basically burning an entire side of the game. I saw where he was coming from and actually started to agree a bit myself. We were doing all of this headstrong gameplay under the assumption that Jenna, Jeremiah, and Rita are double agents. And while incorrectly disregarding that assumption has fatal consequences, incorrectly making the assumption literally burns any chance I have of working with an entire side of the game and most likely their jury votes as well. Now I may be cold-hearted and not give a shit about who I have to burn but I'm also a businessman at my core and shutting down so many opportunities for negotiation is a needless oversight. This chess piece seems to be smarter than the rest which isn't necessarily saying much but it's something I should keep my eye on. I don't need anything standing in my way. But for now I think he's an asset. Nevertheless, if I was going to trust Jenna, Jeremiah, and Rita for the vote and risk the vote backfiring on me (since I would likely be the target of the Sewer Rat Contingency), one of two things had to happen. Either I needed immunity to guarantee my security or I had to be absolutely sure that the three of them could be trusted and didn't have any ulterior motives.

The challenge ended up being a failed mission. I pretty much dedicated my entire day to it today. I didn't have many talks other than the required small talk that must occur every day so all that was on my mind was the challenge. I came up with a strategy for it since counting challenges are usually not my forte and I felt confident that I might be able to pull out a win. I did the challenge and still felt pretty good about it. When I went back to check my counting after I had submitted an answer, I realized I was off in total by one and that, as Lóng as no one got them all right, I should be able to win. Unfortunately, even my secondary calculations were incorrect because I was off from the total by 3 and others were closer. I wasn't very happy with the outcome because I felt I put more into the challenge than I normally do and I don't like coming out to play without guaranteed safety. But I also know that I have the skills to survive this round without immunity and that I can still do exactly what I need to do without the added comfort. It did mean that if I was going to trust Rita, Jeremiah, and Jenna for the round, I needed to resort to my backup plan, making sure I could trust the three of them which I would judge based on how honest they seemed to be with me and how much they were investing into our game conversations. It's typically bad jury management to make deals with people who you're about to vote out so if I can basically have them agree to one and make sure they push for it as much as I do, then that should be enough of a guarantee that I'm not their target and that I can risk trusting them for the round.

Immediately following the challenge, the Natalie chess piece talked to me about not trusting Hunter and Rachel at all. She thinks they’re too close and doesn’t want to rely on them this round which is what we were going to end up doing if we went with the original plan and lied to Jenna, Jeremiah, and Rita about the vote. Now, I was no longer in the jumpy mood I was in the day before when she had talked to me so, instead of just agreeing with her, I was able to truly sit back and kind of observe what Natalie’s true intentions are. She took the Jaison boot very hard but she is making the mistake I almost did and is really letting it drive her gameplay which means she’s getting sloppy. After throwing her mistrust of Hunter and Rachel out there, she said that Neal had to go this round because of how close he has come to winning immunity on multiple occasions. I agreed and said that it was going to depend on where Jenna, Jeremiah, and Rita stand because they could force the tie on me but she was insistent that we would both probably be fine. Then she really started to show her cards. She said that we could make an alliance with Rita and Jeremiah to ensure that they vote our way this round. This means 2 things. The first is that she really is struggling with the Jaison boot and as a result is starting to really get reckless and scorch the earth in terms of making alliances with everybody and everything. Meanwhile, the second is that she’s latching onto me because I’m the only Lóng member left which makes her easy to control for the time being and also exposes her position to me. She is effectively trying to play the middle and it seems to be working. I think I’m in a spot to play a similar position (if Jenna, Jeremiah, and Rita are not with the Sewer Rat Contingency) and so Natalie becomes a threat to me pretty soon. Someone to watch for sure.

However, I did agree with the chess piece for the time being that an alliance with Rita and Jeremiah was probably my best bet because it gives Jeremiah something solid with me other than just our “strong bond” which we’ve been talking about for rounds, finally gives me a chance to work with Rita, opens up my options to play the middle and so that I’m not just relying on OG Mushu, and basically allows me to test if I can trust those 3 for this round. With all of these benefits clear, I brought it up with the Jeremiah chess piece. He had mentioned last round wanting an alliance with us 2 and Jaison but he unfortunately got blindsided so I asked him if we had decided on a different third member. He said that we hadn’t but discussed a few names. I went back in our chat and reiterated the main points he had made about Hunter and Rachel seeming really close and us two probably being closest overall to Rita and Natalie. This was the alliance Natalie had wanted and the one that I want as well so pushing for this was my best move. He expressed further how much he doesn’t trust Rachel since she wanted to target him in our last dragon challenge and how close she is to Hunter. This seems to be a fear for a LOT of people but, considering they are only 2 (or 4 at worst if it is all of OG Mushu), I don’t think it’s that hard to deal with later on. Anyway, I asked him what he thought about an alliance of us 2, Natalie, and Rita which he responded well to. We both agreed that the two of them seemed close and would probably be down but we just had to talk to them about it.

I was talking to the Jenna chess piece throughout the night but there was no game talk. I’ve found that the best method of manipulating this particular piece is to get very close to her on a personal level so I put in the effort much more with the small talk with her. Plus, I trust her the least out of the 3 Anairas who voted with us last round due to her being with the Sewer Rat Contingency on tribes longer so my best bet at having her not vote for me this round is to just get as close as possible to her and have her feel like she can trust me in a general sense like I’ve tried to do the last couple of rounds.

I had a similar personal talk with the Rita chess piece throughout the day because I think bonding with her is my best move as well but, unlike with Jenna, she was included in Natalie’s alliance and I feel like I can trust her a little more in terms of investing game talk in her. So after a while, I decided to breach the subject. I used the fact that I’m going to be at a baseball game all day today as an excuse for wanting to talk about this round with her last night. Her first move was basically to say that the 3 that voted for Jaison are an alliance that could be scary but that she doesn’t know what everyone else wants to do. I was 2 steps ahead. I needed to get her out of the “majority” mentality that she seems to have been in the last few rounds because, while we obviously need a majority and I do think that one of the Sewer Rats going is the best move, the last minute spreading of a name that’s been going on the past few rounds doesn’t leave room for alliances. So I need to get her in the mindset of playing individually and securing our safety that way. Plus, it gives me room to not directly target the Sewer Rats if she is actually working with them.

I said that people definitely seemed to think at the end of last round that those 3 made themselves “easy votes” but that last round opened the gates for more gameplay and made everything more complicated than just that. Basically, my goal was to make the vote seem ambiguous until I knew I could trust her. She asked again if this round really should be used to just exterminate one of the Rats. I’m still not totally sure if her intention is to get me to target them just to show them but even if it is, I don’t see what good that does because they are already against me and willing to vote for me. I think the more likely reason is that she wants to secure the easy vote. But I still don’t want to confirm something I don’t know. I told her that it’s a known alliance so that’s scary and then moved the conversation to what I wanted to talk about.

I told her that I like her a lot and want us both to stay safe regardless of what crazy shit happens so I hope we can form something that gives us numbers and guarantees safety. She completely agreed which is what I was looking for and felt pretty strongly about wanting to be a part of a group because she hasn’t to this point and fears there’s other stuff out there (which there is and she isn’t a part of but no need for me to tell her that). I asked her who else she would feel comfortable about because I always like to be the one playing off another person and she was quick to answer Jenna because she likes her and knows she was in trouble if Bìángsī went to tribal again. I didn’t realize these two were close but it was a minor oversight I should’ve seen. Anyway, I reciprocated about Jenna and then answered with a number of my own to be fair to Rita. I know that everyone knows Natalie and I are close and I also know that her and Rita are fairly close so bringing Natalie into the fold should give Rita some confidence about a definite number. I tell her that I like Natalie, think she’s trustworthy, and that she also (like us) doesn’t have anything going on in the game to my knowledge. Rita agreed and talked about how she can relate because there was never any real game talk going on for her. She then asked me about Hope and Woo since I was on a tribe with them. I didn’t want them to know about this or to be in it because Woo is too headstrong against these three. I said they definitely seem close to each other but I still like them a lot and think they’re cool people. But they also haven’t been talking to me a ton recently. None of which is untrue. She said that it’s the same for her about Hunter and Rachel and I agreed, even questioning if those two pairs might be close as if there’s any doubt. Finally we moved to the subject of Jeremiah (the only person left we haven’t talked about) which was my opportunity to say he can be hard to talk to (to downplay our relationship) but doesn’t seem to be involved in anything. Rita agreed and I said we could talk to him tomorrow and then make a judgment call based on that if we should include him. We agreed on everything, called it good, and she went to bed.

What this conversation did was basically put me into an alliance with all 3 Anaira members whose position I am unsure of. Which was my goal this round if I couldn’t secure my own safety based on brute strength alone. I’ve now locked at least Jeremiah and Rita into something solid and they both wholeheartedly agreed which either means they are VERY unnecessarily and hardcore burning a jury vote or they are being genuine, weren’t involved, and I can go forward with my plan of trusting them this round so as not to adopt the barbaric scorched-earth technique that Woo is trying to employ. Basically the only way I could still realistically go home this round was if they pulled the same shit they did last round (if they are with the Sewer Rat Contingency) by voting with us but having them idol our target.

Posted Image

That’s where the Hunter chess piece comes in again. As the person who basically convinced me to not lie to the Anaira 3, I knew he would be on board with not lying to them this round. I’ve gravitated closer to him in most game areas because I feel like we agree more than I do with Hope/Woo and he’s also a hell of a lot more present/around/talks to me more. We debated the pros and cons of everything that could happen this round and, while I made sure to keep certain secrets close to my belt, I did say that I felt like the three Anaira could be trusted for this round. We ultimately decided that the best way to avoid what happened last round was to split the vote. Of course, we had to get Woo on board with that but if we could do so, then an idol would no longer work and I would have accounted for the only way I could go home this round. Rita, Jeremiah, and Jenna would have to either completely burn my jury vote and our entire side or they’d have to let one of the Sewer Rats go which is the position I wanted them in. I’ve run a few simulations and the chance is there for me to go home but I think this course of action gives me the highest chance of survival as well as puts me in the best position going forward.

We (or should I say I) ultimately haven’t decided who the target will be but I think the split will be on Neal and Liz. Kenny is useless and will just ride aLóng for another round or two before we can take him out too. I’d prefer Neal go because he has consistently targeted me despite me thinking that we were getting aLóng and plus he’s a bigger challenge threat. I also want to make sure that Jenna is in the 5 of our 5-4-3 split because, having not talked game with her, she is naturally the one of the Anaira 3 I trust least so if she is in the 5 and flips we still have a 4-4-4 vote but if she is in the 4 and flips, and they idol the one with 5 votes, then I’m fucked. I think, at this point, for those 3 to be working with the Sewer Rat Contingency, it would take a LOT of coordination, air-tight trust between all 3, a complete disregard for jury votes, and a cold-hearted approach to the game, all of which I’m capable of but I don’t think any of them are nor are they in it together. This split is my best bet so now my goals for today (once I get back from the game) are to secure the alliance Rita and I talked about last night and to make sure this vote gets split. One of the targets will be eliminated this round, I’ve secured the assets necessary to do so, and I will continue to put myself into a better position going forward. This is for you, Jaison.

Jeremiah is trying to pull one over on Iceman but Iceman is already 5 steps ahead of him. I think Kenny is about to be idoled again but what they won't see coming is 4 votes for Neal. I'll explain everything after the vote. Iceman out.

Episode 12: Target Eliminated

Posted Image

Ok so for the first time ever I think I’m going to just make the round write up about what happened last night because I already covered in detail what happened in the first half of the round and enough happened yesterday to deserve its own write-up. So I was at a baseball game pretty much all day. I came around at about 5 and knew the 2 objectives.

1. Get the alliance Rita and I had talked about formed.
2. Guarantee a split on two of the 3 Sewer Rat Contingency.

Posted ImagePosted Image

I worked on the first one which required me to talk to Natalie and Jeremiah. I had already talked to both of them about forming an alliance with us 3 and Rita but Rita’s addition of Jenna meant that I had to run it past both of them. Both are pretty slow to respond or aren’t always around but I couldn’t advance to the next phase of my plan until both were informed. While I’m waiting for responses from them, Hope, Woo, and Rachel are making small talk with me which doesn’t really go anywhere. I asked Hunter if there were any updates about the vote, hoping he organized something regarding the split but expecting full well the underwhelming answer I got. He did nothing. He’s a solid ally and a smart guy from when I’ve talked to him but he just is so afraid of the smallest amount of visibility. Eventually, Natalie and Jeremiah both responded and so I quickly updated them about me talking to Rita, her wanting to bring in Jenna, and our alliance being set. Both were happy to hear it and so now I just had to talk to Rita so that we could make a group chat.

Posted Image

I messaged Rita and updated her on me telling Natalie about what we had talked about and her being down. I had also told Rita that I would talk to Jeremiah and make a judgment call based on the convo so I played it up like I got a good vibe and that he didn’t have anything else going on. So they were both good and then I asked if she talked to Jenna. I wanted her to do this because I trusted Jenna least due to us never really talking game. I was mildly annoyed when she said she didn’t because I just did all that and she couldn’t even talk to one person but I guess I can’t expect anyone else in this game to do anything anymore. It’s all on my shoulders. She said she would talk to Jenna if I wanted her to and so I just let her because I “had to go eat dinner.” Jenna messaged me at literally the same moment so I just told her I had to go to dinner, hoping Rita would get her on board quickly.

Posted Image

Suddenly, I’m added to a group chat by Natalie. I had told her that I would make one after I talked to Rita but I guess the chess piece got tired of waiting. Can’t say I’m too disappointed because it keeps the visibility off of me but I just hope Jenna knew what she was being added to. I have a feeling Natalie and Rita were coordinating so it wasn’t too big of a deal. Soon after though, Natalie adds us to a group chat with Hope and Woo as well which we had talked about doing earlier in the round. She was messaging both chats worrying about the deadline approaching quickly so it was clear that she was really panicking. She recognized that her and I had put ourselves in the middle which was my intention but she was being stupid and trying to rush an hour before the deadline what needs more time and finesse to develop well. Either way, she was the one making herself the target so I didn’t care too much.

The Hope/Woo group chat is pretty dead but the Jeremiah-Jenna-Rita-Natalie-me one (which hereafter will be called Anaira) is booming about the vote. Basically they’re asking if we can trust Mushu to split the vote. Now this is where things start to get complicated. My first objective this round was this alliance so mission accomplished there and now it was starting to collide with my second objective (splitting the vote) which is even better. They all wanted to work with Mushu on this for a 5-4 split to guarantee that one of the Sewer Rat Contingency went home. It was my dream. All that we had to do was actually coordinate with those 4 and guarantee that it all goes down.

Posted Image

While all of this is happening, I’m talking to Hunter. Now, I have gotten VERY close to Hunter this merge. There’s only so many good conversations you can have with somebody and even solid game talks before you want to work with them. And I’ve particularly gotten into it with Hunter because, going into this merge, Jaison and I were tightly aligned with Hope and Woo and that was my only real connection other than Natalie so I assumed that Lóng and Mushu would work together. I’ve been able to branch out and make relationships with Anaira members as well so that isn’t the case exactly but it doesn’t take away from the effort I have put into forming a bond with Hunter. So now we are pretty tight and I’ve basically shared most of what I’ve been doing with him. I need a new closest ally now that Jaison is out. It can’t be Natalie because she’s not around enough and is too in it for herself. It can’t be Hope because I can’t help but feel like she has allegiances elsewhere and she’s also a little too much like me in that she gets paranoid easily where I need a more calm ally. I think Hunter fits the bill well.

Anyway, so I’m talking to Hunter while my alliance chat is discussing splitting the vote with Mushu and I’m updating him on all this and telling him that he has to get Mushu organized and that we have to be ready to split because the deadline is approaching quickly. He was updating me before my new alliance chat was made about Hope having been told that Jenna was the target of the Sewer Rat Contingency this round and about him having told Rita this which I saw as a positive because it would only more firmly plant Anaira on our side this round. But then he started to get weird vibes from Jeremiah who he never really trusted and who wasn’t actually saying what he wanted to happen this round. Then Jeremiah apparently told Hope to vote for Jenna.

Posted Image

This was the sign that I needed. I started to put the pieces together regarding the Jaison boot earlier in the round and I had basically come to the conclusion that there had to be a rat but that it probably wasn’t all 3 Anaira. Rita has never seemed particularly close to the Sewer Rats and Jenna was my first thought but then she was getting targeted by them. All of that as well as Jeremiah now targeting Jenna to Hope and him acting weird last round when I told him the vote was for Kenny was enough evidence that he was the rat. But there was nothing he could do if our split plan worked. We had to get the 5-4 split down perfectly and put him in the 5 so that the best he could do was flip which would force a 4-4-4 vote and we would control the revote. So he’d either have to flip and expose himself for no reason or stay hidden and watch an ally go home.

Hunter and I had figured it out and had guaranteed a way to get this vote off without a hitch. I had underestimated the Jeremiah chess piece a bit. I was convinced that he was just one that I could completely control and an easy pawn for me in the grand scheme of things. But it turns out he’s trying to play both sides a bit. I still chalked it up to his not being particularly bright though. Maybe he was just staying loyal to his original tribe because he doesn’t know any better. But either way we were going to stop him. And then he pulls something that kind of put everything into perspective. He told the Anaira-Lóng group chat about the Sewer Rat Contingency pulling him into an alliance with them and Hope/Woo with their plan being to vote for Jenna. He convinced everybody that we have to drop the split plan because we can’t rely on Hope and Woo and we have to try to secure Hunter and Rachel who are in the middle and just all vote for one person.

NOW, I know this isn’t happening. Hope and Woo are 100% down for the split plan. They just have to know who to vote for. Jeremiah had an ulterior motive here to protect his Sewer Rats but doing so required the vote not to be split. He must know that Hope and Woo aren’t voting with the Sewer Rats because otherwise, he should have just let the vote split, let them flip, and let Jenna go home. He must know that they are not flipping and he knows his buddies are screwed. So he’s either attempting to throw Hope and Woo under the bus to make one of them the last minute target, saving the Sewer Rats. OR he’s trying to force all of the votes (us 5 as well as Rachel/Hunter) onto one person so that the Sewer Rats can idol that person and blindside someone AGAIN. I tell Hunter all of this and how we have to stop it from happening. At the time, I ruled out the first possibility but, in hindsight, the first one is just as possible. However, if that was Jeremiah’s plan, it quickly backfired because, while my alliance no longer trusted Hope and Woo, they weren’t ready to target them and still wanted a Sewer Rat gone.

Posted Image

Hunter now became pivotal to my alliance because he was the swing vote in their minds. He and Rachel could either side with Hope and Woo and vote for Jenna or side with us and vote for one of the Sewer Rats. Jeremiah said that he knew about the Jenna plan (which he did but he also knew Hope and Woo weren’t actually buying it). We basically all agreed that we needed Hunter and Rachel to vote with us and so Jenna should work on him and Jeremiah should tell him that he would be seventh in any of Mushu’s plans due to Hope and Woo’s apparent alliance with the Sewer Rats. As people started talking to Hunter and Rachel, they were feeling shady about the two of them which I think was bound to happen no matter what and started debating switching the target and all this other stuff but they came back to the realization that, regardless of the target, if Hope and Woo are voting for Jenna, then we need Hunter and Rachel with us.

WHILE ALL OF THIS IS HAPPENING, I am telling Hunter about what Jeremiah’s plan MUST be. He is trying to force all of the votes onto Kenny so that he can idol and they can blindside whoever they want. Hunter agreed that this made the most sense based on Jeremiah telling our alliance last minute about the Hope/Woo voting Jenna thing. So my way around it was for Hunter and Rachel to agree to vote for Kenny and to agree to be on our side. But that those 2 and all of Mushu needed to actually vote for Neal. This would prevent Kenny’s idol from cancelling all of the votes. It would only cancel 5 and 4 would still land on Neal, leading to a split vote and a Neal blindside. Hunter agreed and I didn’t have any time to do damage control with Hope and Woo so I told Hunter to tell them that he’s getting the info from me and that they need to trust me. I really thought that this was our big chance to stop Jeremiah.

What it came down was Hunter agreeing to the split like we talked about and wanting to make a chat with everybody so that we could coordinate the split. For some reason, he suggested they exclude Jeremiah which was probably stupid because it alerted Jeremiah that Hunter was onto him but not too big of a deal. So my alliance wanted to go into this chat to convince the Mushu 4 (or at least Rachel and Hunter) to vote for Kenny and us to vote for Neal. But then we would actually vote Kenny to avoid Hope and Woo being able to team up with the Sewer Rats and eliminate Jenna with 5 votes. But I relayed all of this to Hunter who relayed it to Mushu and said that they had to not vote Kenny and instead vote Neal. This would guarantee that the vote was still split because the real threat was not Hope and Woo voting for Jenna but was actually Jeremiah being a double agent and having an idol played on Kenny. This would deal with that problem and not the fake Hope/Woo one.

We made the chat and everyone agreed to the split, which no one had any intentions of actually honoring. I was expecting the vote to go through and everyone to be blindsided except for Hunter and I. And that was almost the case. My alliance was shocked that Mushu had lied like we had and that the vote did actually get split on Neal. Mushu was blindsided that Anaira had lied and that 5 votes were put onto Kenny (or at least they were if Hunter didn’t tell them). The Sewer Rat Contingency was blindsided that the vote got split and that one of their own went. BUT Hunter and I were also blindsided when no idol got played on Kenny. WHAT?!?!?! Why was Jeremiah trying to force the votes onto Kenny if he wasn’t going to play an idol? What was the point of telling the alliance about this other than to throw Hope and Woo under the bus for the future? Ultimately everything went according to my plan except that Kenny didn’t idol which made Mushu seem like the bad guys instead of the heroes who split the vote and saved Jenna. Not my intention and my alliance was mad but it wasn’t at me so I didn’t care too much. It just meant they and I had to do a little damage control next round.

But what of the curious case of Jeremiah Wood? What were his actually intentions this round? Was he actually a double agent mastermind? We’re left with 3 options.

1. Mastermind- Was working with the Sewer Rats and attempting to play all sides. Tried to force all votes onto Kenny and to throw Hope/Woo under the bus. Then an idol could be played on Kenny, they could blindside someone, and Hope and Woo would have targets for the future. This was my assumption at first and the one that I hinged the vote and all of my planning on. But the lack of an idol play implies that this is not the case.

2. Smart player- Not a mastermind. Was working with the Sewer Rats (or even may not have) and decided to reap the benefits of this round. It would be an easy vote but he could secure a target on Hope and Woo for the future by telling us about their plan to blindside Jenna. It would solidify our alliance and would result in Mushu being targeted going forward (or even at this vote). However, his excessive scrambling to put all of the votes onto Kenny imply that this is not the case.

3. Lovable lug and concerned ally- Jeremiah is the same not so bright player I thought that he was. He was never a double agent and maybe just slipped a little too much last round which led to Kenny idoling. He genuinely heard that the Sewer Rats and Hope/Woo were targeting Jenna and was concerned for our alliance. He waited until the last minute to tell us because he was still debating a bit but ultimately trusted us more than the Sewer Rats and was genuinely trying to force the votes onto Kenny to avoid Hope and Woo blindsiding Jenna, which is what he legit thought was going to happen. He wasn’t drawing votes for an idol play and was trying to secure Hunter and Rachel because we needed them and the votes not to be split to guarantee Jenna’s safety. He was just as baffled by last round’s results as the rest of the alliance and is now mad at Mushu for a reason. In short, Hunter and I overplayed the fuck out of this round and it’s going to lead to Mushu having a huge target now. This is sadly the most likely option at this point. We gave him more hype than was actually there, overthought everything, and now Mushu is gonna pay for it due to my miscalculation. Which kinda sucks but also, they don’t see it that way. They still think I saved them last round, which is what I WAS trying to do (I was just wrong but I wasn’t lying). So ultimately if Mushu does all go, I think that’s 4 jury votes for me. It’s not optimal but 4 jury votes are nice, especially after MY miscalculation is what landed them on the jury.

Anyway, we will see what ultimately happens. I don’t fully trust Jeremiah at the moment but I do think it an overreaction on my part last round. I’d rather be safe than sorry anyway and I do think I can get Mushu out of the hole I put them in so no harm, no foul for the time being. I’ll update tomorrow morning with some happenings for this round (which let's face it isn't much because everything will just happen one hour before the vote) but I wanted to close out last round before I went to bed. Things are finally getting interesting and, for the first time all game, I think I’m finally in a VERY good spot with a solid chance of winning. Of course it’s still for Jaison and I will prevail for him. Iceman out.
