I think it's safe to say that P got pretty fucked last night.
I am SO relieved to not have to deal with the tiring task of socializing with Alina every day.
What a bizarre ORG day yesterday was. The strangest thing about the whole situation was that Alina created the entire thing in her head. Yes, she was right to assume that she was in a bad spot...during the challenge and throughout the five minutes afterward when we still thought we were going to the worst tribal council of our lives, but I fully intended to stick with her to have numbers at merge.
She approached me yesterday and immediately went off on me for targeting her in the challenge. I tried to explain that it was purely strategic because Jenna wanted to go after Kenny and we didn't want to target Natalie (doing so would have seemingly no effect on the TC we thought we would be going to at the time), so it made sense to build walls near her and team C. She didn't buy it and continued on this circle jerk where she said me performing in a challenge was me turning on our alliance and being an idiot. Then she proceeded to bring up the first dragon trio challenge with the sandbags, saying how that it didn't make sense that I targeted her trio because we were allies. I said, "Hope and Kenny wanted me to do it since Trish was in your trio and literally everyone wanted Trish gone because she was inactive." Her response: "If your dragons told you to vote me out, would you do it?" No bitch, that's an entirely different situation. The point of challenges is to win them for yourself, but when you're working as a team in a challenge, it's important not to come off as a control freak. This is something Alina doesn't understand about the entire game. You need to be willing to work with people and give a little in order to advance.
SO ANYWAY...
After this like four or five hour circle jerk with Alina, I told her "good riddance" and fucked off, and then made the poor decision to joke that she had an idol. SHE DIDN'T APPRECIATE THIS!!!!! And then proceeded to try to turn everyone against Nick and I.

Lóng HAD AN ALLIANCE!!!!! Like...of course? That's why we're still here? It wasn't like she was providing anyone with groundbreaking information. Anyone with any sort of strategic mind could conclude that the four of us had worked together, just based on the way votes had turned out. So learning that this was Alina's pitch for voting for me or for Nick just made me laugh. I didn't even have to do any campaigning to get her out at all. Five different people came to me last night and were like "Oh my god. Alina is fucking crazy. How did you deal with this for so long?! I'm exhausted."
So that was cool. I was the chill one who didn't really shit talk her and it ended up working in my favor.

In all honesty, I don't think she actually told anyone about this, I think it was just a scare tactic, but whatever!
So glad her final words to me were her clapping for herself. You should be proud of yourself, Alina. You really achieved something great here.
ANYWAY, last night's events were great because they let me know how strong my social game has actually been. Alina threw my name out there and didn't get any bites. Jenna even told me I was the only person she wanted to talk to last night, and Jeremiah said he had really missed chatting to me. Hunter came to me with vital information about Alina, and I felt like I strengthened a lot of relationships, and even built bonds with people like Rachel and Rita who I hadn't really talked to at all. And then I had people like Hope and Woo going to bat for me. I'm content with the way things played out last night. I just hope now that Alina's gone I can be of lower visibility for a bit and just stay under the radar enough to not be seen as an immediate threat.
