JOE-MIE LANNISTER BAY-BEEEEE!

First I wanna give a shoutout to my dragon brothers from anotha motha DRACARYS WHATUP!

So pretty, right?

The three of us worked extremely well together and were all on the same page. Admittedly I think I lead the conversation a little bit at the beginning but as the challenge got going the narrative of Nick getting all of the sandbags and chucking them at us took over and ultimately became our center of attention.

At first the strategy was plain and simple, let people go for each other until someone goes for us. That worked out well for the first few rounds until Nick swung at us. We swung back. Hunter made a truce with JP that we wouldn't throw at each other. Nick and Wes get sandbag possession and what do they do? Chuck both at us. Neal helps us retaliate, and then on the most crucial round, Survivor challenge MVP Joe Anglim baseball slides into one of those bags, and whips it with all of his might to take out the strongest competition in the challenge! We didn't come out with a win, but we took out the strongest team in the challenge by far. Nick is a force to be reckoned with. Noted.

Overall the challenge was really fun and I got to finally bond with Caleb over something, and become even closer to Hunter. We proved that we can work together as a team and that we're a strong competitor, despite the fact that we finished maybe 4th out of the 9 teams. Hopefully finishing middle of the pack doesn't perceive us to be too strong.

These dragon challenges bring up another aspect of the game, which is that you want to weaken competitive dragon teams to better your shot at winning immunity in the future. Even though I am a challenge junkie, I'm glad I didn't win the challenge because I do not want that target on my back.

Kenny and I discussed the idea of if there will be tribe swaps or not due to the fact that there will be future dragon challenges. I didn't think there would be until Ken brought up the fact that new tribes could mean new, even, randomized dragon pairs. Since this is the nine dragons, I would assume that a swap would happen at 18, the next possible scenario for 9 dragons. On the other hand, every hunt has a unique randomized board, and that would get messy real quick. Maybe no swap?

Since Liz is still MIA, I decided to go ahead and tell Kenny Neal's plan with Liz and I. To Neal I haven't brought up adding Kenny in, but I've informed Kenny about what's been going on at least. Liz and I mutually agreed to tell Ken at the same time, but since Liz's computer died (press f to pay respects), I figured that I'd tell him. I think this was too impulsive of me, but I think the timing doesn't really matter. The ultimate goal whether it be tonight or tomorrow is to ensure my safety, and try my best to secure my allies' as well.

This is now the awkward stage of the game where tribal is on everyone's mind and nobody wants to talk about it. Neal approached me about it and was very forward with it (he called his behaviour sporadic) and I told him honestly there's no name that comes to mind (there actually is one though) and that my priority is to keep me, him, and Liz safe (and Kenny but ye I need to try to help lead him down the path to come to that conclusion himself). He agreed.

Neal then pulled out his harp, frame made out of Ben & Jerry's containers, and played the most beautiful tune I could have heard:

Quote
Neal Gottlieb
the only person that doesnt really talk to me is wes

(If you're from Canada I hope you recognize this)

If there's anyone from my tribe I want gone, it's Wes. Wes and I have had the least amount of conversation, and we don't really gel that well. He is a strong competitor, but so is the rest of our tribe. After seeing how ridiculously quick to the trigger Nick is, and knowing that there will eventually be challenges that entail this quick reaction, I want to weaken Nick. He did it to himself to be perceived as the strongest competitor in the challenge. Even if he didn't come for us, he got the sandbag more times than he didn't. I didn't come out and tell Neal "yeah, let's do Wes!" because I don't want evidence of me leading the charge. For all I know he could make up some stuff and fake conversations. I just echoed the statement "as Lóng as it ain't me, you, or Liz."

I genuinely do want to work with Neal. He's fun to talk to, he's a great competitor, and he's ultimately Mr. Anaira right now. He's had a big role in the past three challenges, and he's hogging the limelight more than I am. Ideally if Wes goes this round and we can make it me/Ken/Liz/Neal, I'd be more than down. I know Neal is talking to Jenna a lot though, and he hasn't really clicked with Ken. Idk. It is a problem, but I don't know how to solve it just yet. Maybe I wont even have to solve it! Who knows. S'all good brah.

Even though I'd love the safety, not having immunity gives me the opportunity to see where my current stance is in the tribe and hopefully have another round from now to take what I learn from the vote and build from there. Of course, like everyone else, I'm hoping to stay and be in the loop! Until then, s'all chill and groovy and I'll keep my ear to the ground.

And now it is time to pay my respects to Anaira's first casualty of the season. Will -- as you fade into the black and white forever, just you that taught me how to spread my wings and become a social butterfly. I'll never forget you.

f

Respect has been paid.

Just wanted to say that even if it takes me a round to catch up on your confessionals while I'm watchdogging your posts, I really appreciate all the effort you're putting into explaining every thought and putting together fun graphics <3 I'm glad you're so invested in the game, it makes it more fun to watch.

(please fuck me)

So this round is shaping up to be everything I hoped it would be. Neal pistoned the Wes vote, it's spread around the tribe, and it looks like it's going to be a unanimous vote. I haven't heard another name, so this would be a shock to me if someone else was voted out.

Wes is apparently going to be voting for Neal. This is exactly what I had hoped for! I want people to see Neal as the big strategic challenge threat on the tribe, and I'll be the hunk getting tan on the beach who pulls my weight but doesn't lead the charge. If Wes thinks this, others will think it eventually as well. He's a meat shield, and the name Neal should be coming up in discussion more often than the name Joe. Neal has gotten everyone on the tribe to vote the way he has wanted, and I'm in a tiny faction with him right now. This isn't to say there could be others, though. Always keep the ear to the ground.

Wes started a conversation with me, and immediately hotshotted to bringing up tribal. I never responded. I rather lie, and I'm a poor liar -- tell him the truth -- or say nothing. I'm going to say nothing. If he's being voted out unanimous, I don't want to give him a chance to incriminate me and use my name if I try to tell him one thing or another.

After this round, I'm hoping that it goes back to another two tribe winning immunity. I love all of my tribe and talk to them regularly. The next vote is going to be much harder. As Lóng as it ain't me, though...

Top 22 here I come!

One of these days, it will go away and you'll want nothing more than to see that purple tinted word flash back across your screen. Be grateful.
