As Lóng as you have Immunity you cannot be voted out of this game. The only way to guarantee your safety round after round is to win Immunity.

Tonight, TWO tribes will win Immunity, sending one tribe to Tribal Council where they will be forced to vote the first player out of this season.

Tonight's challenge is called...




Your challenge is simple in concept. Each of you will be tasked with lighting traditional Chinese lanterns and launching them up into the sky. Here's how it works.

Each of you will PM me a bid in the form of a number. You will be bidding on how many lanterns you believe you can light in a certain time span. The goal of the challenge is to place and successfully complete the highest bid that you can.

Anytime after you send your bid to me, you will make a thread in your confessional. Make sure it's clearly labeled. You cannot make your thread ahead of time.

Inside this thread, you will post the following image in the first post:



Then your second post will increase by one:



And so on. Your goal is to try to reach the number that you bid. If you make a mistake, you may edit quickly. You may delete if needed. Any mistakes that you don't catch will stop your stack there.

Your bids are important. Part of the goal of this challenge is to know your own limits. If you bid too high and don't complete it in your alotted time, you'll fail. If you bid too low and complete it, your opponent may bid higher than you and complete theirs. Think carefully.

Remember, you will have X minutes from the second you create your thread. Seconds will count. You may make practice threads to gauge how you might do, but make sure you label them as such.

Make sure to PM me your bid BEFORE you make your attempt! If you don't do this, you will be DQ'd. Once you send me your bid, you cannot change it.

You each get ONE try!

You'll all be competing in heats with members of the opposite two tribes. Who will these members be? You guessed it! Your fellow dragons.

Each set of dragons will compete in a group with one of nine different time limits. Here's each trio, randomized:

3 minutes




4 minutes




5 minutes




6 minutes




7 minutes




8 minutes




9 minutes



The time above your dragon group is the time limit that you three are allotted in the challenge. For example, the five minute group has a five minute window to light as many lanterns as they can. While you aren't competing against your dragons directly per se, this may be a fun opportunity to try to outperform and outshine one another.

Scoring

If a player on your tribe successfully completes their bid, their bid will be BANKED in your tribe's total. The group with just a 1 minute window can only light so many lanterns in that time, meaning they can only contribute so many points if successful. At the opposite end, those with the longer windows can end up banking a lot more points for your tribe if they succeed. With a bit more pressure added to those with longer time limits, will they go for the gold to put their tribe ahead, or play it safe to make sure they score something? Time will tell.

After 24 hours, the points will be totaled and the two tribes with the most banked points will win Immunity and all be safe from Tribal Council. The nine losers will head to Tribal where they'll be forced to vote their first member off. A lot is at stake! You have until 9:00 PM EST tomorrow to PM us your bid and then make your attempt.
