But first!



We've discussed the Chinese legend of the Dragon King and his nine sons several times by now. The myth states that the Dragon King's offspring were each endowed with unique abilities to help them protect the mountains and oceans of China. Today, they are often referred to as The Nine Dragons.

This is where your first twist for the season begins. As the final newbie season, we've decided to take this last chance to play with the format and do something that we haven't done for Sausage before. No cross-tribal communication.

For the first time, you will be completely forbidden from communicating with anyone who isn't on your tribe. This means IM'ing on AIM, PM'ing on the board, or attempting to reach out to them in any way. Any player caught attempting to talk to another player who isn't on their tribe will be kicked from the game. If someone messages you who isn't supposed to...rat them out to us! This rule goes into effect immediately. You can no longer speak with anyone you may have bonded with up until this point who were just whisked away to another tribe. Your focus will now solely be on your eight fellow tribe mates.

This is of course something that other games tend to do, but we've never disallowed cross-tribal talk in Sausage before. We're very interested to see how it may shape the game differently if at all.
