Alright! I just wanted to do a super quick first impressions thing. There are a LOT of people I have not talked to yet, (too many?) but I feel like I should be able to recover fine enough when tribes are announced and I know who I need to work on socially. I'm feeling confident!
I'm going to go in backwards order of whose chatlog is taking up the most space in my saved archives.

I sent Ozzy a message with no response while he was on the board, tried to talk to Francesca during the captains challenge where we exchanged 2 lines until she had to post once every 3 seconds or w/e (and then after the challenge she immediately went offline), and Trish messaged me before the challenge to say hi where we exchanged a few platitudes (including me complimenting her AIM picture) but then she stopped responding quite quickly.
Eh, I've Technically Talked Them Tier
There is something about Rachel I don't really like? She is one of those people who more than likely has an intro to convos be "Omg are you excited to play the game!" What are you supposed to respond with!? "No, I hate that I was cast in a pool of 60 people to play this I hate my life?" Her highlighted text kinda emphasises that sort of personality to me. It was a Shórt convo and not like we exchanged too many words but at least it was more than just greetings. She basically talked about how the challenge went and that was it.
Wes actually wasn't too bad at all when we spoke and I think I'm the reason why it wasn't for that long. Nice enough guy, works in a call center, and someone who I got to explain the cellular process that is mitosis (don't get to say that in ORGs much). COULD I have weirded him out with that? COULD I then have had a poor response to something he said that didn't warrant an answer? WHO KNOWS.
Woo got a lot of praise from some of the people who I talked to, and he was pretty pleasant to me in the Shórt time we did get to talk. He 100% was messaging tooooons of other people (like a lot of people on this list most likely given I did not put in much effort to reach out to avoid looking like a social threat (like the people on this list can potentially be)) but it seems like he was probably able to handle conversations well with people! He is a sports fan and I was really excited to talk about football with him (I am in deep alias as a Colts fan. I couldn't bear the thought of even pretending to like the Redskins even though my alias here is from the DC area), but then he disappeared to do the challenge and didn't talk to me after it ended :(
I am actually kinda surprised that the log says I talked to Caleb "a lot" because I can't say I remember a lot about our conversation? Apparently he is from San Diego and likes music a lot/goes to lots of music festivals. We talked about the challenge a little bit as it went on but nothing super major came out of this.
Rita was nice! She is someone else who likely just said hi to a lot of people and I was one of them, but the conversation seemed to flow pretty well. We talked a bit about the UK and how she studied abroad in London (which sounds like a thing I would love to do). I'm probably going to try messaging her later today to say hi to show that I CARE after leaving the convo to eat yesterday and not coming back. It really was just a bunch of random chit chat either way.
He actually messaged me on the first night and then went offline to sleep fairly quickly. When he came back the next day he was nice, talked about finals and what not, we updated eachother on the challenge as it went down. All in all I nice enough guy but just wasn't SUPER interesting based on our talk. Could be on me too! Who knows?
I Think They Remember Who I Am And They Were Pretty Ok Themselves Tier
Jaclyn has this certain ~charm~ to her. She's fairly airy and takes QUITE a Lóng time to respond at times, but she seems nice enough. She's endearing enough from the little bit that we talked about "bouncy music," stays up late like I do (something I am trying and failing to work on for alias) and hey, I liked her. She said that she hopes we end up on th same tribe together, so that's cool too I guess.
I actually have this semi-weird fondness from Jenna in the little bit that we've talked. I messaged her on the first night (one of the few people I went out of my way to) literally 100% because of the rep (because I think I am one of the few people who actually like Jenna Lewis). we talked a bunch and she's fair pleasant and down to earth. Talked about class for a bit, they said they were studying clinical psychology or something (whether she or anyone else I've spoken to is telling the truth I don't know), idk again, someone else who just had that certain charm about her. I would love to be able to work with Jenna I think if we end up on the same tribe.
Kenny let me send him videos of Reggae Shark and then pointed me to a Hasidic rapper on Spotify. Basically, we are best friends. But nah, I think I've had some good convos with him and we seem to get aLóng well. I think I said something to him about working together in SOME degree (or it was moreso a "heyyyyy don't write my name down please mkay?") so that should go well. I can definitely see myself working with him, just overall very pleasant. Also he's in HS and for some reason, I really enjoy talking to people about that lol.

This due is the definition of pleasant. Super duper nice, very sociable, already saying stuff like "oh I just like messaging people because it's not that often we talk to people in so many different walks of life." I'm not going to fall into his nice guy trap (because it's one I often find myself setting) but it's hard to not like the guy despite his likely MANY conversations with people. He is going to be someone to watch out for for sure, and he apparently has basic photo-editing abilities if the trophy he made for me is any indication!
A League of Their Own
YET AGAIN, someone who is charming in their own way. Seems down to earth and fairly straight forward and direct. High-key think she was trying to flirt with me at least a little bit, and so far the only person to fill out my friendship application </3 (thank you to everyone who has btw because I find it kinda hilarious). But yeah we talked a bunch during the challenge too and she said that she would be ok with me winning and likes me the most from that group. I would be SURPRISED if she said that to only me, but it would be pretty cool. Anyway, I do like her and I think this can be a fun relationship to have in the game.
It is actually HILARIOUSLY disproportionate how much I've talked to Hope versus everyone else on this list. I would be SHOCKED if I am the only person who has her this high on their list of people they like because she is honestly amazing. Super friendly, we were able to connect super well, and she also quite literally told me that she taked to almost everyone on the cast at some point lol, even to say just a hello. She's just super sweet and we essentially already have an F2 which is pretty great and not USUALLY something I do round 1, let alone pregame. I certainly trust her at the moment!
Oh also not like it's a major deal, but I'm telling people I'm a bio student working to become a teacher (MAY sound familiar to someone :shy: ) who goes to the University or Maryland and generally lives outside the DC area. I'm going to try my best to take a chill pill as far as using photoshop with these people, attempt to use "tbh" and other random abrevaitons signficantly less, stop EMPHASZING with random capital letters, and attempt to log off early so people don't expect my night owl sleep schedule.
That's everyone though! I was going to throw the captains challenge but lost by accident because of Jenna's mad stratz and my own stupidity. Hope said that Woo talked to her about picking tribes, I hope I end up with the two of them and some potential fodder. All in all I am very excited! | | |

Ok I still need to do one of these I suppose! It's too bad that I'm doing this after the twist announcement because otherwise I would talk about how I have been better at socializing and actually spoke to more people the other day (still not too too many people though). Instead, I'll do a quick run down about them
We talked about snorting alcohol? Don't ask why lol, but he seemed ok. He seems like an INTERESTING guy as a whole and I'm not sure what to expect there.
Nick seemed ok enough as well, I was telling him about my bouncy house (not that is not a euphemism) and we talked about random school stuff. He was down to earth enough which is good but we didn't get to talk enough really before the tribes to have a definite good or bad impression.
Hope was giving me the run down on what was going on swap wise and what Woo was going (or at least as much as he was telling her). She let me know I got picked so I was excited! I wasn't totally sure what to think about my WHOLE tribe at first glance but I knew there were a few people going into it I was interested in. Time to talk about the MIGHTY Mushu tribe (weird name but I honestly can't care less)

Once again, going to go down in aim log order.
Still haven't spoken too much, and she hasn't been super around. If we lose I HOPE we can make her first boot, if not then I am quite worried about my status here lol.
JP talked to me a little bit right before tribes were made, and the conversation seemed to be going ok? He seems like a bit of an oddball and maybe new? Maybe not? Maybe he just has that personality where he says things seemingly openly and innocently. If it's the latter then clearly he is someone who CAN be a threat, but I would be surprised. I do know that I plan on trying to get closer to him as time goes on.
The fact that my captain is down here so low is probably a bad thing! Hope likes him a lot and talks to him plenty, but when I tried to message him a bit last night he randomly stopped replying to me, which was quite annoying. I am SO worried this game that I am either being so boring that people want to drop the convos, or that the people themselves just aren't sure how to keep it going. I desperately hope for the latter because I felt like I could be confident enough in my social game going into this, but it's making me nervous. Anyway, I need to talk to him more too and probably will later because he appears to be online.
Ozzy is someone else who has randomly been disappearing on me. Apparently he is like obsessed with Hope lol, so that's fun and helpful for me obviously if she tells me about what's going on (which she seems to be doing so far). I'm an awful person and as we were talking about his tattoo or whatever I told him I was gay in order to open up a possible flirt card door :\ He seems to be affectionate and passionate! And I have a feeling that the best way to get close to him is to pull the heartstrings if he is emotional. I think I'm doing ok when he does talk to me, but we'll see where this goes.
Melinda has got an interesting schtick going? She was fairly active in the tribe chat when we were talking about tribe names and stuff and she was pleasant enough in a conversation. Nothing really to report because she didn't leave TOO much of an impression, good or bad, but she likes Game of Thrones so that helps.
Kinda loling that I have her so high up here because I don't really like her that much XD She's OK but like, idk, something about her still rubs me the wrong way. Maybe its the highlighted text, maybe it's disliking Tyson, or just the way she talks. We did talk for a while last night and because of that I feel like I might be in her good graces, but who really knows.
I actually really like Lillian! We've had some good conversations and have gotten aLóng fairly well. I feel like we've vaguely hinted at working together in some degree but nothing official or solid. I feel like it might be a good idea to solidify something with her if I want it because she seems active and sociable and likely will be someone who can help out. Always good to have an extra number too! Bonded over BBCAN and music so nothing too out of the ordinary.
My #1! (can guarantee at least 2 other people are saying that, mainly Ozzy and Woo) But I SHOULD be hers! Hopefully! I'm actually relatively confident that I am because she has been telling me a lot and we get aLóng super well together talking pretty late into the night. She was "teaching me" all about some random computer science methods (I was in a lab and I said that computer science was a science pre-req) and it was a really fun back and forth. Definitely super glad we stayed together and hope we can do well! HOWEVER, I need to work on not being complacent because she is being sociable, and I need to carry my own weight and try to have my own stuff going on. She's been telling me about how Ozzy and JP and Woo apparently want to start pulling people together or something? I don't know. Considering I haven't spoken to a lot of them yet I'm a little worried but apparently Ozzy mentioned me as someone he liked and that is what is IMPORTANT. I think if we go to a TC I will have my options open and the goal would be to vote Trish given she doesn't talk to me and her potential inactivity.
As far as the Dragon Twist goes, I'm actually pretty excited to be with Caleb and Joe, because I've talked to both of them before. They both seem nice enough, although Joe in particular seems quite sociable. What *I* am worried about is that Joe is talking to a lot of other people and I'm just on his backburner, because he doesn't respond to me super often. I need to keep my eye on him despite being in the same group and all, and I need to remember to like actually talk to him lol.
As far as the challenge goes, I under esitimated because I wanted to keep a low profile. I'm glad that I ended up with the 1 minute time because it means that what I do isn't going to be seen with as much importance as everyone else and I get to avoid the spoilight a bit longer. JP already missed his bet I think (which makes it more likely he is relatively new) and Rachel just came up with some way of getting over 100 posts or something so good for her? Hope we win either way obviously! | | |

I miss Jenna, Alina, and Kenny though :( Jenna and I had a really great convo the day of the tribes being made and I left her with some chilltown highlights. Alina and I exchanged hearts and stuff so that was nice, and Kenny said we would meet in a swap. I don't have a LOT of social relations but I am confident in the ones I do have. | | |

- Idol is a guessing game right now, so rolling with it
- I'm going to code surf a bit to see if I can find something
- Without a lot of conflict there is not a lot to talk about
- Warning: I'm going to be on vacation at a beach house next week so I may not be around a whole ton

So I talked to Ozzy and he was telling me how much he loves me and is ride or die and loves our genuine friendship. I mean I like the guy and I'm glad that this is the case, but it just seemed hilariously (and vaguely predictably) OTT. I am CURIOUS to see how this relationship goes, especially after he already professed to Hope that she is his #1. Everything else he said between the two of us sounds pretty close to the same. He asked me who I trusted and I said I talked to Hope a lot (something I considered not saying because it'd be nice if we were secretly close, but also it'd be sketch as hell to not tell him anything) and he said that he did too.
I also made an alliance offer to Lillian with my patented subtle (lol) offering technique. She seemed to be pretty for it and I have a good feeling that she is pretty trusting of me. I know I plan on trying to stay true to her and tell her what's going on IF things are happening, but we'll see where this goes.
Caleb filled me in on the fact that Chicken was going, so that's FUN.
Still trying to talk to Woo more! It's been kinda hard but I still am making an effort, especially given that he is a captain and that he is close to Hope.
I haven't made any more offers yet and I don't think I will until we get to tc, but this is basically it for the round! | | |

Ok actually to end out the round, this was an idea Woo had that I think can weirdly help. We were messing around with my profile picture and pictures of Hunter, and I think it was me who said that I was going to make the picture someone who looked kinda like Hunter but wasn't actually (because a lot of people don't know who he is for some reason. So I found a picture and set it and Woo said I should keep it and offer F2s to people who figure out it's not Hunter in the picture. Tbh I liked it just because it was a younger Hunter and I didn't need to waste the James Bond - esq pic as an AIM picture.

Some quick updates for the day!
Ozzy keeps talking about how much he loves me and out convos and how he wants to be ride or die AND how he talks to me the most amongst a BUNCH of other stuff. He really does go OTT when it comes to talking about liking allies and while I DO think that he likes me, I don't think I am his #1 or that he talks to me the most. I am fairly sure Hope is both of those things, but he did go to Hope and say that he likes her and I the most so that can maybe be a trio thing? Who knows. I am just unsure how my future in the game is going to go working alongside Ozzy. I feel like he will be loyal, but I just hope he isn't being OTT like that with anyone else (which i have a feeling that he is doing). He also said that he liked JP a lot, followed by apologizing that he liked other people who weren't me and that we were still closest. Thanks? He's a nice guy with what I feel like is a good heart, but like I said he's just a bit OTT.
Now for the challenge! So I told the tribe I was above average at jigsaws, which they all deemed to be practically the best. Someone (Ozzy?) found the site that was going to be used in the challenge and we practiced a few times. At one point we had like 9 people working on the same puzzle, and I got the general gist, so I stopped and let them handle it. Hope and I ended up doing a practice while everyone else was to keep trying to get it down, and I think by now I have a good understanding. The plan was to split up who was doing what based on skill and availability. In the end, the groups ended up being Melinda, Ozzy, Rachel, and Lil, and then Hope, Woo, JP, and me. Lil and Ozzy both said they were awful at puzzles so I'm not totally sure why they were put together while Woo, Hope and I, who all seemed to be at least halfway decent in practice, were kept together, but whatever! Melinda seems to be the best and she was doing fantastically, and we made the joke that it was Melinda carrying her disabled children.

JP has been nowhere to be seen over the last few days. I'm kinda worried but also kinda annoyed because Ozzy seems to like him and apparently told him to talk to me more, so I would like to go ahead and do that! If he doesn't show up it looks like he'll be the next possible target after Trish. I guess I won't complain about it.
I've definately liked Lil more and more over these last few days and Hope seems to agree and likses her a lot. Apparently Hope said that Lil talked to her about working together and creating a group with Woo, those two, and me. Not I'm a LITTLE sad that Lil didn't go to me or ask me about any of this because it had happened earlier in the night, but oh well I guess! I did ask her first so I'm hoping that gives me some sort of credit there. Obviously having a four person alliance on this kind of tribe is going to be super powerful. That, aLóng with having Ozzy on the side, should put me in a pretty good spot.
I still talk to Rachel a lot and I certainly HOPE it's' the most out of everyone, but I honestly don't know. She is getting credit for being some sort of challenge threat, so that's cool? I don't think I'm going to approach her with anyhting but I kinda hope she does with me lol.
Melinda and I didn't talk much today, but she did message me a bit in frustration about how people didn't seem to understand the strategy she was trying to explain for the challenge and they weren't paying attention. I feel like that requires some sort of trust? Maybe? I have a good relationship with her so I think I am going to be able to use that for future stuff.
I am curious as to how Lóng we are going to be on these same tribes. I HOPE it's for a Lóng time because I feel like I'm in a good place. However, if not, I do need to keep up with my dragons to make sure I can keep getting some good info. I still feel close to Joe and have been talking to him, but don't really have much with Caleb.
If we lose the challenge Trish should be going, and I feel like I'm in a good spot for the future. Yay me. | | |

Well, we won the challenge! So I'm happy about that. I did pretty well in it which is starting to make my "throw challenges" idea go kaput, but at the same time I don't want to do badly in these types of challenges because I don't want to be eliminated for sucking or anything. I think I'm going to wait until later until I need to really try and purposefully throw things.
Joe said that Will hasn't been around so rip him probably! I've never spoken to him and he appears to be påpãyä so what to the ever.
Trish hasn't logged onto the board in 3 days so I kinda expect her to be medevaced at some point. If not I hope she stays on the tribe as some sort of buffer if we go to another tribal and lose. NOT losing is obviously great because I don't need to worry about things, but it also makes it hard to solidify bonds and friendships. I am doing what I can until then to do just that. Ozzy and I have been remaining on good terms, Rachel and I have been talking, haven't spoken too too much to Melinda, not a lot of Lil time today but she seems to have been away a lot of the day or something, and of course I'm still talking to Hope a lot.
JP has also finally showed up so that's good. He was nice in convo but nothing major, I still have him semi high on my bootlist because of it. However, because Ozzy likes him I think if we lost Rachel may be in more trouble than JP (assuming Trish goes bye bye).
We also have Woo! Who until this time I haven't talked to that much of an extreme amount. Woo is a nice guy and I've wanted to try and get closer to him, especially after Lil's offer to Hope, and I think today is going to be a bit of a breakthrough in that. We've been having a good conversation and I hope we can finish it off well and keep up a good rapport regardless. I have high hopes and am expecting great things!
Finally, I sent Hope this when I was talking about thinking up a parchment style:
