HEY WUSSUP HELLO!

Liz, Neal, and Rachel—Congrats to the three of you on making the Final Tribal Council! It’s been a Lóng haul and a pretty crazy merge (at least from my perspective at Ponderosa), and I’m sure making it here was not an easy feat for any of you.

Neal and Liz: You guys made a really risky move my boot round, and though I still don’t understand why you would willingly put yourselves in the minority early merge, the two of you made it here, so well done on that! I’m definitely impressed.

Rachel: I feel like I didn’t get to talk to you quite as much as I would have liked. I really enjoyed our conversations early merge and I was looking forward to potentially working with you before my crazy lil’ blindside. I’m happy to see you made it here, but your game is also still a bit of a mystery to me so I do have a few questions.

I have a few individual questions for the three of you and then a totally dorky comparison question so GET EXCITED!

(If you feel like you’ve already answered one of these questions in another thread, feel free to say so or direct me there. I know how exhausting and ridiculous being a finalist can be, so save those fingers from unnecessary typing and repetitive answers!)

Ok, LET’S DO THIS.

I always thought you were pretty weird throughout the game, but I also always enjoyed our conversations nonetheless. There were times when I thought we were bonding, but I was never really sure if this was the case. I was never sure how genuine our interactions were on your end. I felt like we talked quite a bit on NuMushu, but then come merge you just dropped off the face of the earth and next thing I know you sent me packin’!

That said, I still don’t feel like I really know who you are as a person or as a player. The jury also seems to think you’re pretty weird for various reasons, and I’m curious to know how you think you’re perceived.

So my two questions for you:

1. Were our interactions genuine or were you just pretending purely for your own benefit later on in the game?

and

2. What do you think your chances are of winning? Do you see yourself as a goat? List the jury members and how likely on a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being least likely and one being most likely) of how likely each one is to vote for you. If you could give a brief explanation, that’d be great, but if you’re already developing carpal tunnel from this FTC, no worries.

Neal

Hey dude! Believe it or not, I actually really like/liked you, even though I barely got to talk to you in game. ALSO A SURPRISE: I wasn’t mad about my boot! I was mainly just frustrated I couldn’t play longer, but man—from what I’ve seen, you’ve played the shit out of this game so well done. I thought giving the idol to Kenny was a dumb move and I have no idea why you mentioned it in your OS as something other than a flaw in your game, but whatever, dude. You made it here and I didn’t AND you managed to get to FTC with a target on your back basically throughout the Post-Jaison Era (lol how self-righteous. Ew.).

So my only question for you is…

1. WHY ME?! Why was I perceived as a bigger threat in the game than someone like Hope, Hunter, Nick, or Jenna? Why did you think it was better to go after a social threat early on rather than a physical or strategic threat? Was I even a social threat? Please explain because this has been eating away at me in Ponderosa as I’ve dreamed of what could have been. Thanks!

Rachel

Like I said, I really don’t feel like I know much about your game at all, despite reading your opening statement. That’s not to say your opening statement was bad, I just still don’t really have a sense of you as a player other than a UTR strategist and a physical threat, so I have the following questions…

1. What do you believe were your three biggest flaws in this game?

and
2. Which jury members do you think helped you most in this game? Which alliances were most crucial to your advancement?

Thanks! ☺

AND FINALLY: My annoying comparison question

Compare each juror to a President of the United States.

Or if you’re not American and/or not familiar enough with U.S. Presidents,

Compare each juror to a current world leader.

Good luck to all of you! My vote is still very much up in the air so I look forward to your answers!

My fellow Americans, Canadian Neighbors, and all other peeps of the planet. Happy Fourth of July. I hope you spend this day like a true American, and not get fooled into going to see the Independence Day movie. Don’t do it. It’s a trap.

JAISON! First off, I’m really sorry about your boot. I’ve been idoled out before and it fucking sucks. Idol plays are like freak accidents, and the victims are usually players that never deserve them. You seemed like a really genuinely fun person and an abrupt end like that really sucks.

I remember at merge, you and I had only spoke two times but I could feel myself getting drawn in by you already. It only took a couple of convos for me to feel really comfortable with you, which honestly scared the shit out of me. I could only imagine how people you had talked to all game felt about you. You reminded me a lot of myself, and usually if I find someone similar to me, it makes me want to take them out asap. I thought you were going to be much harder to take out above everyone else because of your personality. I think you had a lot of people who cared about you in this game and wanted you to do well, which was very apparent after you got taken out.

I think it’s always better to take out a social threat because they are IMO far deadlier than a strategic and physical threat. Social threats create their own safety with the loyal bonds they create around themselves. They have the ability to rally people against others and ultimately create relationships that are impossible to break. A physical threat well eventually lose a challenge, a strategic threat will get outplayed, but a social threat can use bonds and loyalty to accomplish almost anything. Those are the players you have to take out as soon as possible, before they get momentum.

Hey Jaison!

1.What do you believe were your three biggest flaws in this game?

1)My first flaw would be that I have a tendency to assume too many things, without actually thinking it through and fully assess the situation that I’m in.

For example: a lot of people seem to think that it is a game costing mistake that I’m taking Neal to the end because I’m banking on a bitter jury. That’s not really the case, I’m fully aware that ~bitter jurors~ may tend to vote for the person who was responsible for their own boot, but I personally believe that Neal does not pose a threat unlike the others (Rita, Nick, Hunter, Hope, Woo) and my shot at winning this thing is just as equal as his.

But at the end of the day, I should have probably thought it through ~jury wise as a whole~ instead of my own opinion but it's very hard to predict how jurors will vote, but I'm not giving up!

2) I noticed that my execution can be a bit messy/choppy if I don’t have any immunity around my neck

At F8 , I had immunity and I was able to execute the Hope blindside very well without actually screwing it up, but that didn’t really happen at the F6 because I didn’t really have immunity back then which was the round I mishandled the Nick vote.

I believe the only few rounds where I was vulnerable at the merge were at : F13, F12, F11, F6 & F5 . Therefore, from F10 to F7 I was immune, and I think the second that I didn’t win immunity at the final 6, that made me a bit ~greedy~ because I wanted some sort of safety, I was getting used to that feeling of being safe.
Hence I promised Nick and Rita that I would go to rocks for them just in case if Liz, Neal and Woo were to turn on me, I would have at least these 3. I wanted to maximize my options so I would be safe in the end.
At the end of the day, I promised too many things and I unnecessary led Nick for 24 hours and this is what I meant by poor execution. I think these immunity necklaces, and the feeling of being safe got into my head.

3)

I think I should have initiated more game talk with people during the merge. Random conversations are great, but I think at this stage of the game where tribal council can’t be escaped any longer, game discussions needs to be prioritized.

Therefore, I feel like I didn’t have great ~game relationships~ with many people in this game. Usually.. and this may come as a surprise to some but I always tend be very gamebotty, which I’ve been criticized in the past. For this game alone, I really wanted to do the opposite and focus on personal relationships and socialize with everyone to the best that I can. In the end, I believe it was due to those lack of ~game conversations~ that may have contributed as to why I was a bit out of the loop on some of the votes

2. Which jury members do you think helped you most in this game? Which alliances were most crucial to your advancement?

I think Hunter helped me the most because he did provided me with some good intel about what was going on, especially during those early merge rounds.

As far as alliance, I don’t believe there’s one in particular that contributed to my advancement in this game. If I had to describe what this game look like in a normal season of Survivor, it’d be similar to Cambodia. There were a lot of voting blocs, and nothing was set in stone, every alliances shifted back and forth because there were a lot of flippers in this game (myself included). So it’s really hard for me to name one, because these alliances had a Shórt span, they only lasted less than 2 or 3 rounds before I or some other flipper flipped.

Thank you Jaison for the questions!
I'll do the comparison soon!
