For 42 seasons, Tumblr Survivor has brought together a community of Survivor fans and those who love to challenge themselves and compete in a competition unlike any other. This season, Tumblr Survivor is taking you to the beautiful Gilbert Islands in the nation of Kiribati. For centuries, the lush environment has been colonized and taken over by different nations and cultures and used as a war zone for outside conflicts. Recently, Kiribati declared its independence and sought to define its own culture and sense of nationality.

It is here that a group of players completely new to Tumblr Survivor will battle against each other for the coveted title of Sole Survivor. By competing in challenges, communicating via Skype, and making and breaking alliances, these players will experience an unforgettable summer in order to make their mark on a thrilling and lively community.
