1. What do you think happened tonight? Why were you flipped on and why were you the one targeted?
I think I entrusted the wrong person in Rachel. I was fully intending on going to the end with her but clearly she had other plans for me. Perhaps I came on a bit strong with her in terms of the strategy thing, but I have no clue why I was targeted over Nick. At face value, he was a much bigger threat than myself.
2. You changed your vote to Woo at the final minute. What was the reasoning behind that?
I did that because I figured that my vote in the Lóng run, wouldn't amount to much. I'd told Neal about the Woo vote incase there was an idol floating around in the Hope that it was used or Neal would be scared into voting him. Both scenario's would've resulted in Neal's departure and I'd have been viewed to have stuck by his side which would've helped me out in a jury situation...
3. Anything you wish you had done different with this vote? Any regrets throughout the game in general?
Yeah. I honestly regret everything about my game when I read through the ponderosa thread, but I overall feel like I was just dealt a really fucking tough hand. I was left out on a limb by pretty much every switch up that happened, this meant that my ~social game~ was spread so thin over a lot of different people which could explain why some people liked me a lot and others didn't. But it's difficult when you have strong bonds with some people, and then you leave them for half the game, and then try to build other bonds with people who have allegiances to their original tribe and then trying to go back to the people who you initially bonded with, when they know you've had the opportunity to socialise with others. It sounds complicated, but that's because it IS complicated. And throughout the whole game I was constantly fighting a battle with being on the bottom of LITERALLY everything. Because I wasn't really given an opportunity to build a STRONG bond with any ONE person due to my efforts being spread over so many people, and trying to maintain the links that I had made. People clearly viewed me as a floater, but I'm a logical player in that I'm not going to make unnecessary moves if they aren't going to benefit me, or they're gonna see me burn out quickly (eg. Alina) Do I regret not making a lot of moves now? Yes. But hindsight is 20/20 and had everything went to plan this round, everyone viewing the season was aware of my plans and how I would've been literally set to take out the huge power players left in the game, and this was my strategy all along. To make my moves later on in order that they were fresh in the jury's minds and having that shock factor when I've been viewed as a non-threat throughout the game. A lot of regrets, and honestly reading through about what people have said about me being fake just sucks. Because I'm not a fake person, and there's so much hypocrisy in that thread it's unreal. But it's not my issue, clearly some people just have to take a good look at themselves before slating others for doing similar things, but I'll address all of these matters in the appropriate thread.
4. What criteria do you plan to base your final vote on?
Loyalty and gameplay.
5. Who are you rooting for? Who are you rooting against?
I'm rooting for Rita at this point and probably against Nick because that's what I had planned to do after this round. Nick was so irritating in the way he spoke to me and just made it clear that he felt he was superior. I hope to see his downfall, even though it would probably spell danger for Rita. I also don't want Liz to progress just because I hate her mechanical approach to the game. I can't see myself voting for her in any situation.
6. Which players do you think are playing the best as of right now?
Rita. The rest are hugely flawed, and I'd struggle to even pick anyone playing a decent game. They all seem to have a grasp on the complex matters but fall at the hurdle of BASIC SURVIVOR, mostly to do with social game.
7. Any final comments?
Just that I really appreciate the chance to compete in this season. While overall I'm disappointed in myself that I didn't get to make the impact I wanted to, I'll readily challenge any notion that my full attention was anywhere other than this game. I've never been called inactive, literally ever. And to contrast that I've received nothing but praise for my effort and activity in pretty much every game I've played. I wish I had been in a position better suited to showing my strategic ability more prominently, but the fact of the matter is that I wasn't and that's just something that I'll have to deal with. But I'm extremely proud of my placement, especially in outlasting 20 other players. To me, that's an amazing achievement in itself. Especially after having such a rocky journey to this point. Thanks a lot for the fun ride to the players and especially Lex and Brett, and of course all the PW's who supported me throughout the season. | | |
