I'm sorry but a "power" that randomly sends someone home completely takes away from the game.

There's strategy in going to rocks, you need people to be willing to tie a vote and there's a lot that goes into that. But giving someone the power to randomly send someone home takes away from that strategic element of the game I feel.

I played a mini with that once. I also played a game where we were in pairs and every pair that made it to the merge would get an idol.

It might be fine with an active cast. But the inactive-ish people knew they were going early and used their idols. Most of the cast didn't not like it very much.
