Good evening hosts, fellow final 3’rs, and jury. I hope you’re in the mood to sit down and listen to me talk about myself for a few minutes.

All three of us had a very different path here, and my goal is to hopefully explain the method to my madness.



My goal from the beginning of the game was to put myself in a position where there was always a better alternative to vote out. Multiple “shields”, if you will. While this isn’t exactly a NEW strategy, I believe I employed an under the radar strategy well. My name was brought up multiple times, but nobody ever made that real push to take me out (barring my big bonehead move, but I’ll get to that later).
I don’t want to ramble (and I’m sure none of you want to listen to me ramble), so I’ll keep this brief. I also don’t have any experience with this portion of the game, so I don’t know what is really the precedent regarding length.

Anyway.

Right from the get go (day 2 if I’m remembering right), we formed a tight bond with myself, Rodney, Brice, and Lue. We had a hand with pretty much every move that went down for a long time. We had each other’s back (pretty much) the whole way.
I don’t want to get into the semantics too much, but it became immediately apparent to me that I wasn’t (and shouldn’t be) #1 in challenges, and that I was not going to be #1 in the social game. While I think I did both of these things well, I was dwarfed by some of you people in both respects. This is when I came to the realization that I should be allying with people who would be perceived as bigger threats in these areas than I was so that they would be a bigger target than I was. I also knew that I’d have to have people weaker than me in these areas so that no matter what, I would never be a primary target.

My social game has been questioned throughout the game, but even as my name was being mentioned and brought up, I always managed to find myself in a majority. Even after being voted as the “biggest snake” and “villain” of the season, there were always bigger threats (or easier targets) for people to go after. My one giant mistake was almost talking myself into getting voted out on NuDivinita, but even then, my allies were willing to lose a HII idol to keep me in the game. If that doesn’t speak for my social game, I don’t know what does.
So I managed to make the merge, and was able to talk myself into a majority that lasted to the end of the game. I was never in any real danger, as my loyalty was well known to my allies, and there was always someone else to go after. Even right to the final vote, when my Beautiful Brice Shield went home.

I tried to keep this as brief as I could, but if you have any questions regarding certain votes, things that were said, etc. Please, ask them. I’m an open book this week.
A few quick bullet points that I’d like to list to close off that will hopefully convince you to vote for me
1) I was never truly in danger, because of my own social ability and strategy of having shields above and below me
2) I formed REAL bonds with a lot of you. I’m serious when I say that I want to keep in touch with pretty much everyone here right now after the game is over.
3) I was a solid challenge performer. I like to think I was pretty important in the team based challenges, and had solid showings in the individual challenges.


In conclusion, I’d like to thank:
- The hosts for putting on an awesome game. Lex and Brent, you are masters at what you do.
- The jury for being a part of this experience and reading the wall of text I’ve left you
- Rodney especially. We’ve had each other’s back from day 1, and I’m honoured to share this final challenge with you
- Monica for adding a spice of drama to the endgame
