Come on in guys! If you haven't read the season intro first, make sure you do that here before reading further.
In every Sausage season before this, the tribes are typically selected by the winners of an opening Captain's Challenge. This season...we're gonna break that mold.
You'll be divided into two tribes. Muertos, representing Day of the Dead, will consist of the ten returnees and will wear red. Inocentes, representing Day of the Innocents, will consist of the ten newbies and will wear yellow.
Get to know your tribe mates! Cross-tribal communication is always allowed as well, meaning you can speak to players on opposite tribes.
Tonight, this is what you're playing for...
Individual Immunity!
BOTH tribes will be heading to Tribal Council tomorrow night and both tribes will vote one person out. The two players voted out will head straight to Isla Muertos, where they'll await their third opponent. One player from each tribe will walk away with Individual Immunity
Your first Immunity Challenge is called...
While celebrating Day of the Dead, participants will build altars to honor their deceased. They cover these altars in decorations and offerings. Tonight, you'll be doing the same using the following images:
Each of you will PM me a bid in the form of a number. You will be bidding on how many offerings you believe you can post in a five minute span. The goal of the challenge is to place and successfully complete the highest bid that you can.
Anytime after you send your bid to me, you will make a thread in your confessional. Make sure it's clearly labeled as your challenge attempt. You cannot make your thread ahead of time.
Inside that thread, you will post the following image in the first post:
Your second post will add one flower:
Your third post will add one more candle:
And so on. Make sure each new post includes all of the images before it. Your goal is to try to reach the number that you bid by alternating between candles and flowers. You MUST make sure you always alternate them, never two in a row. They must be stacked, not sideways. If you make mistakes, you may edit quickly. Any mistakes that you don't catch will stop your attempt there. They do not have to be centered.
NOTE: The bid includes both candles and flowers, not a full 'set' of both. If your bid is 10 and you make 10 posts with 5 candles and 5 flowers, you've reached your bid.
Your bids are important. Part of the goal of this challenge is to know your own limits. Whoever bids the highest on your tribe and successfully completes it in time will win Immunity and be safe from your first Tribal Council. If you bid too high and don't complete it, you can't win. If you bid too low and complete it, someone might've bid higher than you and completed. Think carefully.
Remember, you will have five minutes from the second you create your thread. Seconds will count. You may make practice threads to gauge how you might do, but make sure you label them as such. Only one actual attempt is allowed.
Make sure to PM me your bid BEFORE you make your attempt! If you don't do this, you will be DQ'd. Once you send me your bid, you cannot change it. Once your bid is PM'd to me, you can start at anytime without our permission.
You each get ONE try!
If two people happen to tie for first, it'll be broken by who reached their bid the quickest.
Results will show your bid and whether or not you met it.
The stakes are high! One player from each tribe will win Immunity and be safe from Tribal Council tomorrow night. For the losers, two of you will be voted out and sent straight to Isla Muertos.
You have 24 hours to send me your bids and make your attempt. If you have any questions, post them below. Good luck!

4/20 in! Heading to bed now, make sure you PM me your bids before you make your attempt
ON THAT NOTE, work forces me to be an old man now so I usually sleep around this time or earlier. I won't be as readily available for questions and such this late at night like I've always been in past seasons. In other words bug Brett if you need something |
