Okay so. I made it to the original final ten. That's awesome! With Ami leaving, it's a bittersweet. It sucks because I individually do not trust Mama C so much, while I think I could trust Ami, and she has proven it. When I came back half an hour before the deadline, I told her straight forward what was happening. And she kept it quiet. Even Rodney didn't even know I told her. I did that because she could come back, and that's a potential alliance. She has even said she would leave a good word to her allies, Colton and Amber, whom by the way, I have yet to talk to, but I soon will. I will let them know I have tried to keep Ami and how I loved that they flushed Mookie's idol, and I am sure they will see me as their new best friend, or at least consider it. That's a dangerous game to play, but whatever. It's a social game, and I need to be friends with as many people as I can. That Puppet Masters challenge has shown I have lacked social with some of the other tribe and I need to step it up before it's too late, preferably before the merge is announced.
I stick to my speculation that two people will come back, and we will merge at 12. That's an even number, with 9 jurors and a final three. It could be even crazier if three of them came back, but that's possible too. However, that would mean one us will become a final prejury too. :S That's the part I like the least about it! I would like to think I have made it to the jury, at least.
When Ami told me they were voting off Dan, I thought it would be funny and smart to run to him three minutes before deadline and be like : DO YOU HAVE THE IDOL? Like twice. I didn't even care if he played one or not, because I know that Brice had immunity. So now if he comes back he can think I maybe looked out for him, even though I just didn't give a shit.
With the *real* game starting soon, relationships are about to turn into a bloodbath. It will be insane. I'm actually scared about it. I don't actually know who I want to make it to the end with, so far, I have been playing a day by day strategy. I said in the very beginning I was going to float my way to the merge, because you never knew with swaps what could happen so it was a smarter gameplay to just adapt with the majority at all time. But merge will be different : If you make the wrong decisions, you have no room left to hide. Information will become triple more important, and you need to calculate your game a lot more. The game is numerology. It's a game of numbers.
Let's go through my thoughts on everyone so far.
 - This girl has a big mouth, but I like her. However, I only trust her to an extent. I think she trusts Rodney more than she trusts me. I'm not going into details why I think that, but that's what I think.
 - I think this guy is going to play the "puppet master" behind the scenes. I'm not a fool, I know he's going to protect his goats, and he will take goats to the end. I've seen how he's acted with Ami. Even after the deadline, he was still lying to her, while I was telling her the truth. I know I have to take his words with a grain of salt. BUT I know he should have my back for a while, just gotta be careful not to let him get all the power to keep his goats like Sherri and Mama C.
 - She's a scared player, and people will tell her what to do. I don't think I am controlling her vote. I'm a little worried about her, because I think she will stick around for a while. I just don't have a good read on her and she is strange. I hope something happens and she goes home quick.
 - I don't trust this guy at all. I think he has been waiting on the perfect opportunity to flip on our tribe and he has some cross-tribal alliances. He didn't win that Puppet Masters challenge just for the hell of it. No, he asked for help, and we know that. He's too quiet. He's not on my red list yet, just that I have an eye on this guy.
 - He's my biggest target. I've explained a million times why I don't trust him. He has broken my trust when he has lied to me about his guesses and had the audacity of asking me "were you able to narrow it down a little?" No fucker, I cracked it and I knew you or Carolyn had that, and you looked like a moron. You have been unfriended.
 - I like him, but I think he has many alliances. Everybody talks with him, and he has a hand on a lot of information, He's definitely not the player I want to go against, at any point for now. I think he's a logic person, so if anything, he might be willing to break his deals for a better deal. He's a good source of information for me as well, he's shared things with me about his tribe, while others barely wanted to talk to me in the face.
 - This guy is liked by many people, I think he could be dangerous. But I don't know him a lot.
 &  - The two people I've never talked to, and I plan on stepping it up, because I plan on being friends with them.

I think I've worked Amber up a little. She sounds fun to talk to, we've always had something to say to eachother, and we also brought up about the votes on our past tribes, (Mookie's and Ami's). If I stick to look trustworthy, I think I'll be a safe girl in her books and that's what count. On the other hand, here goes Mookie again, starting a conversation with me, not to talk, but to just try and confirm if he's beaten my challenge performance or not. I guess now I know I've beaten his time IF HE TOLD the truth, because let's remember how much of a liar he is. But this guy is just annoying and always only think about himself. That's hilarious how I was so lazy I first thought I'm gonna throw it, then when I start I'm like OH MY GOD THIS IS GETTING EASY. LET'S CONTINUE. And I did 28 minutes on that challenge. Which is amazing.
Then they started revealing the Isla Muertos results. I was impressed and happy that Jenn and Angie dominated this for a long time, and Angie is STILL in this. I hope she sticks around, because I plan aligning with her whenever I join her on Isla of Muertos.
Then, it was between Dan and Ami. I hoped that Ami would come back, but it was Dan. I guess it could be good too... ? I'm gonna start to get to know him. He could sure side with our original tribe since he was blindsided from his people. But the question is... who do I really want to work with? I have no endgame plans with anyone here, or it's just too unspoken.

Me and Sherri have discussed a plan of action. It would be nice if Daniel was gone first in the process, because I do not trust the guy, and I know that other people are trusting him over Mookie, so if we keep Mookie, then he could still be targetted. But if we vote Mookie first, that leaves Daniel still in the game and he won't be as much of a threat even though he could still be hiding an idol in his pocket. If he does have one, it's also the best timing for me to have one, simply because I have immunity right now.
This was our conversation, and yeah, me and Sherri talking it's like super messy, I know I know, Sir and Madams. We are a mess.

When I woke up this morning, here goes Rodney simply telling me that Sherri will be the vote. Just like that, no remorse or anything. Totally calm. What the fuck? Something is off. It sounds like everyone are just gonna vote for Sherri now. And I thought well okay that makes sense, Vytas just wants to flip so we do not have the numbers, I was expecting it, and I hope I'm not screwed next round and thanks god I won that immunity it could have just been me lol!
I then had a conversation with Amber, and I tried to convince her that even though Sherri is a target, there is an idol out there, and there will soon be two. Do we really want THAT? At first she was telling me well Monica, you're immune, it's easy to just go on the idol hunt, but then I reminded her that since we've just begun the merge, there are more people and less chances to get idoled out through the idol hunt. We need to clear them up! She understood that and then ended up talking about that idol more than I did.
Then I had a conversation with Colton, that made me rethink this entire game. He said to me that it was really strange that Sherri is the vote. I thought wtf? How do you think it's strange? Aren't you from the other tribe? Then I just generally said : Well, there were three swaps, is this really a numbers game? And he gives me the name of the six people that told him were voting Sherri : Lue,Mookie,Brice,Vytas,Rodney,Carolyn. As soon as I read those names together, I clicked. Aren't these six working together? We know for a fact that Mookie/Lue/Brice ARE a trio. I immediately told Colton that we might be in the trouble, and I told him about my speculation on that six-person alliance. I had to remind me the night when Mookie played an idol, and how the three of them voted together to avoid a vote split. I think if he's smart, he should do the math himself, since he was there at that tribal. I then told him that on my tribe, Rodney was always protecting Carolyn's and Vytas' names at all cost. And I asked him : 3+3, what do you think? He said we seem to be on the same page.
However, I don't know how we could flip this vote around. We won't get the numbers, and that could sound strange if we're trying to rock the boat already. BUT Monica is being prepared for next round. I know what I am facing, I am potentially facing this :
And my strongest argument is that they are a 3/3 split among that, and soon or later, they will make a move against eachother, and who has the power to do it first? The Mookie trio, because for one, they have an idol, and TWO, by getting rid of both me and Sherri, they will have an easier hand on Amber & Colton's vote. And there they will get blindsided, until their trio prevails. I sound lunatic and illuminated LOL. But you need to make assumptions in this game because information isn't going to fall into my hands until it's too late. I just need to be ready to strike if my name comes up next round. | | |
