According to that last message on the comms module, that group of nine is supposed to be kept far away from the red child, or bad things could happen. And well...those two were in the same room for who knows how long. Don't know what to make of it, really.

He got separated from his group for trying to be a hero. There was some kinda trap where everyone would get hurt unless someone stepped up to stop it. He climbed in and got separated as a result. Apparently, he knows where their group is, and they're close.

What made them have a change of heart on him?

Rin, how opposed would you be to meeting up with Aippaq's group instead?

The fact that Aldo may be coming back to us makes me less keen on it, but it's still something I'm open to.

Did Izza give any reasons for this?

It's probably for the best I wasn't awake to hear that confession. My hands are quivering just thinkin' about it. My boy didn't deserve the pain she put him through.

Call me cynical, but I'm not sure that I buy that whole Level D thing. It sounds too damn easy. Maybe the good folks of the Dalia decided to extremely helpful with that note, but in my short experience on this ship, it seems like that sorta thing would be more cryptic.

I'd prefer to go to uncharted territory, but if your group is expecting you back, then I would assume that's the best route, even if it is backtracking. As far as this group C thing goes, not sure I trust the whole thing. But if Izza is alone with you guys, I would assume she's at the will of your group for now, so there isn't much she can do.

Unless she's leading them into a trap.

That was mainly me expressing my disappointment over being abandoned. Which, by the sounds of it...isn't entirely untrue, but isn't the whole story neither. I just question the leadership in that group, to be frank. Percy seems to be looking out only for herself.

However, I won't go looking for your group if that's not what Rin wants. I'm not going to leave the girl.

Rin, what was the rationale they gave for their change of heart about Aldo? I'm frankly gobsmacked that they'd want to use one of Watts' revivals on him when they originally were adamant about not even "wasting" a medkit.

As much as I'd like to go exploring and looking for your group, I can't leave the girl behind. So if her mind is truly set on going up that elevator, I'll follow suit.

Stairs, elevators, was there truly a difference in the end? When you've ascended into the heart of darkness, does it matter how you arrived? Or is the ascension itself all that matters?
