Message could be useful for the bots.

i manged to use the comms device before last phase ended. nobody picked up, which based on the item description means nobody else has one. these bots, there for what storage of items or messages, so that if someone comes by later they can pick items up or read messages? and im guessing attack is some kind of trap?

I picked up the portal gun last phase, it allows us to create two portals to travel from one to another, but I am asking for clarification/more details on how it exactly works.

Also, sadly, it requires a fusion cell to work... *sigh*

i used the comms again, nobody picked up. if someone picks a comms device before the phase ends then i will still find out.

So the portal gun creates a portal in the room it is in, and then we have to use it in another room to create the second room, essentially, it's a fast travel between one room to another, and if we create a third portal after the second, the first one disappears but it would need a fusion cell after that, so we have that in our back pocket if we ever need to plan ahead or anything.

I personally don't see the point of doing anything with the Robots for now. At least not for a fusion cell. Now opening a portal could be beneficial depending on where we end up going. So I'm open to that idea and assume that teh census is going to be heading East from here?

Lindberg do you really think that comm device will actually converse with someone? Or is it possible that you are trying to talk to someone else on the Dalia? We don't know for sure if the ship is completely deserted.

from the wording i think it would let me talk to another crew member who finds one.

I have no issue using the portal gun, maybe we should save it for when we find the bomb and we can portal back to the bridge?

Other than that I say we only use it if it gets us to a safer environment.

well the sooner we use it the first time the closer we will be to the elevator, the inactive shuttles and the bridge. the question is can we afford to use a fusion cell.

we have enough fuel cells to keep us all alive until i think phase 14. we only have 3 extra fusion cells beyond that point. so we would need to find 5 more to gain everyone else another 3 phases of power. if we use a fusion cell now then we need 6 more.

Use portal gun now so we aren't far from the bridge.

Save it for later, the extra fusion cells should be used for life for now.

But we need to use it now so we don't waste time getting back with the bomb or getting to the shuttle.
