Phase 06 - Level A - #9182
|
|
The group descended in the elevator, taking care to avoid the fallen molten material as it cooled.
When they stepped out they were inside a similar sized room, which appeared to have been set up for military defense purposes. Garthon examined the sign on the wall which mentioned a heat seeking missile system.
"Wow. Could do some damage with these." He said slightly nervously as he looked down at a launcher which was armed with missiles.
"I believe this system is live." Commented RAMSES. "Take care."
The system did appear to be operational beside the lack of power.
"How come the weapons are all working but the escape pods aren't?" Said Freyja miserably. The group were left to linger with that question in the air.

IZZA is alive. She finds other group. I don't know why she is alone. But she tell them defense system is thing they find, and they use last round. But then this kills Aldo. They did not know what to expect I guess?
Izza say they are all still alive but one is hurt. |
|
Aldo is dead by defense turret, not missle.
KitKat does not sat much during the night. However, I do not think we should treat 9 peoples as demons for this. You are hearing stories tell by me, tell to me by KitKat, tell to KitKat by Izza, who I do not think claims to be fully responsible for this decision. Is like this telephones game I play as a child. Sometimes the message can still be guessed, but the details are always lost.
The only window to these other people and their thoughts to us all this way here is through 3 different people and their paraphrase. I try my best but is not fair to judge then on this alone or act as if they are all bad because someone makes a bad choice.
It only takes one. We do not know who this one is. |
|
Oh! I forget best news! These Percy group have way to tell is people are in other rooms nearby. They see someone alone west to them! Aipaaq!
I don't know if they will go for him. I hope they do! |
|
|
Regardless, it seems there would be more information flowing about what that group has been through, how they survived, who was injured twice, etc. Unless KitKat just isn't keen on sharing said information. |
One person is said to be injured. I guess only once. Jeong. No one else is said to get hurt. The other may be Aipaaq. :(
No info yet to me on how they survive. Izza tells them Misty is crazy. This is not new information and can mean anything from Misty shoots baby to Misty is Misty.
There is not much else to share that I hear without clarifications.
KitKat comes and KitKat goes, I think both with me and with group. I don't think KitKat knows what is very important and what is not at all. Is not mean KitKat is bad. It means KitKat never shares brain with person very far away before.
The information is slow, but there is no malicious or deceit to this. I share a brain with this person. Maybe I do not think they handle thing well, but they are not bad. I trust KitKat as much as any of you. |
|
I just don't want paranoia to come from thing I can tell are innocent or unclear. I do not forgive myself if I cause panic or fear without cause.
Something happen with other group that makes them very paranoia but turns out is just someone not reading results right. I wait on more information before I share any of that because it does not seem right. and confuses me. |
|
The 8 are very far away and I do not think Group Percy will come this way. I don't know the way they plan to go yet. |
|
This is my thread.
This is Izza's map (at least a copy of it)
|
|
Here is updated map I make:
I do not include other map for now because it does not connect.
The thing I not mention earlier is the monster. This percy group thinks for a while there are many monsters. They have a monster detector, so they get reading each phase. Only this phase this detector realizes they do not get their role right. They think they are surrounded! 3 monster on all sides. But no. They only track ONE monster. They mistake these directions for many.
This monster is north of them by 2, west by 2, and up a floor. I put this monster symbol roughly where this is.
Since is only one monster, I think this is Jellybean they track.
Is example of how paranoia gets very bad very fast for no good reasons. They think there are many many monsters, so they think the 9 turn into monsters to explain why there are so many. Then they think others will turn into monsters because they think this. But is just someone does not understand direction. One dumb thing turns into many many dumb thing.
This is why I do not want us to jump to conclusion and paranoia on little info. It will only lead to bad choices. |
|
KitKat tells me of this red child story, that Izza says the eight are out for vengeance because of this child.
I find this strange. It does not make much sense to me. Pizza at first calls these stupid and inactive and bad decisions, but does not say they are bad until later.
I do not want to pass judgments upon eight people based on the word of one. We should be cautious if we meet these, but we should not greet then as enemies. |

Ok, I have highlighted my role results and the group locations of phases 2-5. The green circle is our location as the time of detection, the purple circle is the location of Group Percy according to Tesimal's twin, and finally, the red cross is where I expected them to be based on my results.
Phase 2:
Phase 3:
Phase 4:
Phase 5:
The results for phases 3 and 5 are spot on. 5 is when I detected Pipes.
A possible explanation for my phase 4 result is that I detected someone else who isn't in group Percy. Izza maybe?
Phase 2 is problematic though. I don't see how that result makes sense, unless the rules of my role were different at that time.
Very confusing! |

Oh... the red child. I believe I have read about something similar in history books.
RAMSES shares a (link to a file) to everyone's GMC console. |
|
The red child could be the unstable subject of Kayla Interplanetary's cellular harvesting program that we were warned of when given our alternate objective. The Jellybeans bear a resemblance to the description of the child with their smooth, red skin. Perhaps they were created from DNA extracted from this red child. |
|
|
Maybe Jellybean IS the red child. |
There are multiple Jellybeans, so I'm not sure that is the case.
Hm. I don't believe I need to reiterate this, but we need to escape from the Dalia. We will find only misery here. |
|
RAMSES shrugs and flits through his GMC console and brings up the (garbled transmissions).
If you translate the binary notation in the first transmission...
|
Planets are fun aren't they? Friend or foe? Please come and play with me. I want to understand. Life is so fragile isn't it? Are you coming to visit? I hope I don't have to hurt you... Space is scary and quiet. Why is the universe so lonely. What kind of feelings do people have? I want to create something. I hope you can hear me. I have no friends left any more. They were too fragile. |
There is something undeniably childlike about the transmission. Inquisitive, naive even, though indisputably sinister. |
|
|
Yeah, I'm not so sure I want to find this bio lab anymore. Kayla is into some sketchy shit...no offense, but RAMSES is completely sentient, yeah? There's no way that Kayla could be monitoring us...right? |
There is not room in my programming for two uplinks to wrestle for control of this unit. Being one of many units mass produced by the questionable Kayla Interplanetary is this unit's cross to bear, but neither this unit nor its operator has any interest in anything but seeing you all get off of this cursed ship in one piece. |
|
This unit feels like the other groups have been given their own alternative task like we were, and the person harping on the need to not become greedy is their way of saying that we need to focus on the main mission and not go off possibly chasing metaphorical ghosts that seem easier to accomplish.
Because if we do not turn on the power and get the atmosphere regulators back on, we are all going to die sooner rather than later. |
