Katherine "Percy" Percival @ 7/5/2015 18:28
So you guys think Rin can transfer over her problems to like.......Watts?

Rin @ 7/5/2015 18:29
If you guys missed it, something cured me yesterday.

Aldo @ 7/5/2015 18:30

aldo is starting to creep me the fuck out. aldo arey ou talking about the syringe as a pointy stick?

Rin @ 7/5/2015 18:35
Aldo is saying that he felt someone get stabbed by something yesterday. Poor kid.

Katherine "Percy" Percival @ 7/5/2015 18:35
I wonder if Aldo got his marks from the other group. Like somebody got hurt in their group and it is beginning to effect Aldo body?

Frederic @ 7/5/2015 18:35
For those who have not added a fusion cell yet, it's best to do it NOW yah? It's actually necessary for you to do it now.

Aldo @ 7/5/2015 18:36
OUCHIES!

OWWW :( momma i feel hot momma!! my face is hot!!

Aldo @ 7/5/2015 18:42
i feel fire all over me

i'm scared mommy.. i wanna go home :(

Katherine "Percy" Percival @ 7/5/2015 18:43
What the hell is going on with that other group?!?!!?

Rin @ 7/5/2015 18:53
Use your words baby, what happened?

Aldo @ 7/5/2015 19:02
Rin @ 7/5/2015 19:53

What the hell is going on with that other group?!?!!?

Intriguing! Well - at this point, I highly doubt the second group is hitting this many traps so frequently, I'm sure the nine we left behind are feeling it too..

Page 2:

Edom @ 7/5/2015 19:16
Glad you got healed Rin. Aldo's pain is interesting. You guys are theorizing that it is from the other group?

Sam Baines @ 7/5/2015 19:25
Rin you really got healed?

Rin @ 7/5/2015 19:26
Yep, I was informed just a bit before we entered this room.

Sam Baines @ 7/5/2015 19:28
That's great news!

Frederic @ 7/5/2015 19:30
So... has anyone taken the syringe yet? Or does anyone plan on taking it?

Captain O'Hara @ 7/5/2015 19:30
Interesting, indeed! Do we think, perhaps, we should stick on this level? Are we not wanting to go to Level E? Going back down to Level B might be counter-productive.

Rin @ 7/5/2015 19:31
I don't like needles. Plus I think I've had enough excitement for a little bit. But I won't judge anyone who wants to try it.

Sam Baines @ 7/5/2015 19:33
The elevator also might lead to Level A.

I'll check my thermal and I expect Percy and Cronkite will check their stuff.

Katherine "Percy" Percival @ 7/5/2015 19:47
I am pretty interested in the elevator. I am waiting on my results right now for my scan.

Also I do not like the markings on Aldo face now. I hope he is not becoming injured in the process of taking on all others pain.

Francis @ 7/5/2015 20:02
Rub some dirt on it, son, you'll be fine.

Aldo @ 7/5/2015 20:04

OK daddy :(

can u tell me a story?

Anna @ 7/5/2015 20:07
I'm glad that Rin was cured, fantastic news.

Francis @ 7/5/2015 20:07
I squinted and peered at the shiny metal needle. It seemed oddly...alluring. Was I going mad? Perhaps. Hell if I knew. All I knew is I couldn't take my damned eyes off it.

Glad to see you've healed up, girl! Now that no one in this group has radiation poisoning, it seems we're all on equal footing, so there's no obvious candidate to use the syringe. I'm feeling particularly bold, though, so I'd be willing to try it out unless there's some objections.

Captain O'Hara @ 7/5/2015 20:13
Brr! I have a slight fear of heights, I must say. Elevators - not my favourite.

Aldo @ 7/5/2015 20:14

Hmm.. I suppose I should find a symbol for an elevator, alas it was a quick update..

Map!+

Frederic @ 7/5/2015 20:18
Listening to Aldo's "sensings" have made me very thankful to be in this group yah? We have made gainz while others have lost flesh.

OK daddy :(

can u tell me a story?

Of course I can. I've got plenty of those lyin' around.

Let's see, let's see. Ah!

This one involves a boy much like yourself. A strong boy, the kinda boy that makes sure to eat his spinach & beans, y'know? Yet so many underestimated him. For a time, at least.

See, that boy had a father. Mean guy. Nasty guy. He liked to take out all his woes on those who couldn't stand up to him. A coward of the highest--or lowest--order, no mistakin' it. One night, he's feelin' particularly fresh and he starts saying some nasty things to the missus. She talks back, and well... one things lead to another, and me and my boys get the call that there's an honest-to-God kerfuffle happenin'.

We get down there, and let me tell ya, he's seethin'. He's standing over, knife in hand, and he's ready to take her out at a moment's notice. What are we to do? We have him at gunpoint, but if we pull the trigger, who know what he'll do? It was truly a pickle we found ourselves in.

Until little Johnny... he starts hollerin' his daddy's name. I can hear it like it was yesterday.

"Daddy! Daddy! Over here you sunnuvabitch!"

The dad, well, he can't believe his ears. He turns around for a second, just a second, to look at his boy. But that second's enough. The boy levels him with a baseball bat., and my partner lets loose and finishes the brute. The wife immediately gets up cryin' and hugs little Johnny half to death.

I tell ya, I shed a tear myself that night. And that never happens. The bravery that boy showed saved his mother's goddamned life. He was just as heroic as any of the boys down at the station, and I ain't just sayin' that.

And well, son, I see more of that boy in you than you know. Hell, I see more than that. You've got the world on a string.

Aldo @ 7/5/2015 20:29
i love u daddy :spaceman:

Lionel Cronkite @ 7/5/2015 22:41
glad to see Rin is better. Not sure what to make of the needle. Ive asked to read the research in the room. I haven't run a scan yet but will in the morning

Arissa @ 7/5/2015 22:48
Yeah, I'm REALLY happy we're all together. The other group, or groups, definitely don't sound like they're faring very well. The syringe is interesting. I'm trying to figure out what "pain transfer" could mean.

Arissa @ 7/5/2015 22:49
And Rin being cured is great - if we have someone who was able to do that, our group is seriously stacked and I love it.

Melvin Schrauwen @ 7/5/2015 23:11
Good luck with that syringe Francis, I'm too scared to risk it after Rin's accident in the previous room. So glad she is healed now.

Watts @ 7/5/2015 23:33
Well damn! I missed a whole phase. Sorry guys, I kept checking back and phase 3 hadn't ended then I got distracted - again! I do have a valuable asset to share with the group and I'll definitely check back in.

Watts @ 7/5/2015 23:34
Did we lose anyone?

Arissa @ 7/5/2015 23:35
Nope, everyone seems to be fine. Rin got infected with some radiation last round, but apparently she's been healed since.

Melvin Schrauwen @ 8/5/2015 0:01
I guess Watts didn't heal Rin

Arissa @ 8/5/2015 0:23
IMO, it's probably not best to try and figure out who has what powers in public if they don't want to reveal themselves.

That was my attempt at a subtle joke

Kip cartwheels over to Rin and pats her on the back.

Way to go, little dudette, I knew someone would come through!

Kip let's off a flex for positively no reason and then gazes around the room.

Looks like we totally got a bit more variety this time, man. I don't know, like, I'm a bit curious of that elevator and the things we could find downstairs. It's true that our goal is going up like the stars, dude, but nobody should expect our journey through this place to be, like, short and linear. We should never completely abandon a floor, we could be missing an armory for all we know, which would be pretty sweet to fight against those lame monsters.

Kip backflips over to the syringe and plucks it off the wall. He sniffs it.

Dude, like, do you know how many of these I've helped get off the streets? Man, this stuff is NOT candy! Just say no to drugs! Rin, if anyone offers you this; you find a parent, a teacher, or one of the Ninja Turtles or something, man. Hope none of you are planning on abusing this thing in front of a little girl and baby.... kid. Huh. Hey, dude, you know what I just realized? This rapid-aging babe is going to be older than his own mother soon. Radical, man!

Kip throws the syringe back onto the wall and stands in front of it, arms crossed.

My personal theory was that somebody that was hurt could use the syringe and pass on their pain to somebody else. I mean that makes the most sense for something called "pain transfer"

Lionel Cronkite @ 8/5/2015 7:58
which direction do you guys want me to scan?

Edom @ 8/5/2015 8:06
You can only get the scan in one direction?

Would it be a bad idea to go down? It could lead us to the other group? I would say either Down or South but that is just my opinion.

Lionel Cronkite @ 8/5/2015 8:10
Down will take us 2 rooms south of where we started in B-4829. Recall, the door to the south exit in that room was locked.

Lionel Cronkite @ 8/5/2015 8:12
And yes. It appears the others can scan in multiple directions, but I am limited to one exit to scan. It may be better to get the results from Percy and Sam before I scan.

Still waiting on my results but will let you know asap since I know it will help determine which direction we should go in.

I am still interested in taking the elevator despite us not exploring this whole level.

Sam Baines @ 8/5/2015 8:45
I'll also let everyone know when I hear back.

Francis @ 8/5/2015 9:30
I'm beginning to think the syringe was strategically placed here so that a radiation victim would stumble in here and decide to share their plight with someone else. But it almost seems...too obvious? Nothing's that obvious in my experience. I think there's more to it than meets the eye.

In any case, I've had second thoughts. Not worth wasting a medkit over the minute possibility that this does something beneficial. Besides, don't wanna upset the boy.

Lionel Cronkite @ 8/5/2015 9:41
I'm worried about waiting too long to submit my scan direction, given the complications with mission control lately. Ya'll want me to check the elevator to see if there are traps below us? South to continue on our path? West?

IIRC, Percy said both of the last 2 phases that there were Monsters 4 rooms to the West, so there is definitely some exploring that could be done that way before we hit resistance...

Down to Level B could take us back towards the other group. Do we want to try and find them given what we may be receiving from Aldo?

Sam Baines @ 8/5/2015 9:58
I think you should scan South or the elevator.

I think um, both paths present positives. Taking the elevator could help us locate the other crew members. Or it could take us to Level A.

South would allow us to continue our search, possibly allowing us to eventually stumble upon a means to get the power back on or complete our mission for those of us who read the paperwork.

Along those lines. The mission from the paperwork seems like it would require us to be on Level B, right? We did see the crate we need to find there when we first boarded the Dalia.

Sam Baines @ 8/5/2015 10:07
I don't recall. B level is docking and habitation.

Lionel Cronkite @ 8/5/2015 10:09
I'm going to check the elevator to see if there are traps in the room below us. I'll let everyone know what I learn.

Arissa @ 8/5/2015 10:12
Alright. I do think finding the other group, or groups, is the best way to go, personally.

Katherine "Percy" Percival @ 8/5/2015 10:32
Since nobody is using the pain transfer we should probably note this room incase somebody gets hurt we can always come back and attempt to transfer the pain onto a less active memeber. I know that sounds harsh but it is strategically smart to do if we decide to stay on this level. I realize that would be backtracking also if that happens but atleast we can backtrack to the elevator.

Page 5:

Edom @ 8/5/2015 11:09
I'm guessing the syringe absorbs pain and then distributes it to the next user. So I think the first time the person would just be healed. Not sure though. Izza would've known.
