"Good luck Pipes..." Said Dain as he stood by the South exit.

"Good luck friends." Came the slightly muffled voice of Aippaq. And the two parties went their separate ways.

Dain pushed the door release and crept into a darkened room with nervous anticipation.

The room was small and metallic. The darkness was also incredibly foreboding. Something was lighting the room from above, but there was also a blinking light emanating from an elevator against the Southern wall. The elevator was leading downwards.

That aside, the room was entirely a dead end.

Dain took a step forth and felt something give beneath him. A trip-wire had subsided.

The world went into slow motion as the vat overhead tilted and molten material began to seep out slowly, but not slowly enough for Dain to dodge. He shrieked out in pain as his group rushed in to his assistance.

Morwena crouched beside the figure of the fallen Dain, who's body was smoking.

"Urrghh..." Muttered Dain, picking himself up from the floor. Molten material was scattered all around him.

"That was....that could've been nasty."

Freyja looked up with a puzzled expression.

"This can't have been a design feature gone wrong. Somebody must've planted this here..."

The group was ready to move on.
