I think we should go south as a group and whoever goes over should also go south, it would seem the odds of us meeting up again would increase with his plan.

Would be really nice indeed to know who took the fusion shells. I wish I were not so absent minded during the start of the phases.

Not to be a total dick here or something but I feel like the person who does leave shouldnt get extra fusion cells.

My reasoning for that is that person is going to be exploring new rooms, which means the chances of him finding fusion cells seems very high. I dont think the chances of the said person suffocating is very high, other deaths are way more likely.

I really think backtracking is a bad idea.

My bet is that this room is suppose to leave someone far away from the rest. I do not think we can meet up with Aippaq any time soon. I bet the room in the north-west will lead west and then possibly south, away from the west exit in the room to the north-east.

I admire your bravery Aippaq and I hope we meet again, but I am not hopeful that will be soon.

We have a very limited amount of cells, we must use them to explore rooms.

Yes but the argument is basically based on that Aippaq has a fantastic ability (plus a great guy) so it's worth backtracking a single room to maybe find him again. Also I presume that you can see if there are people in the room you "see"? So that increases your chances finding you, also Elias can sense people so he might help us find you again.

If the room Aippaq moves into only has a west exit
and
the room we move into after exiting north and then west only has, lets say, a north exit

Then we have pretty much just wasted a perfectly good phase, one we could have used finding more cells, by backtracking and might not be any closer to Aippaq. We might even be further away from him than if we move south.

I know Aippaq has a decent role and I like the guy, but there is no indication that moving north will bring us closer to him.

Takeshi's inclination to go North is more based on the fact that we know that one of the southern rooms has a trap whereas if we backtrack just once, we have many more rooms to choose from, lot more options to explore.

Isnt that the south room we are not going into?
