Man, I can't think of any good reason to turn that on. The only thing I can muster is... what if the scattered group from the exploded ship slips through here with crazy thoughts on their mind!? They might turn that thing back on and be left totally fine! I'm just reaching for the straws on that one, man. But it might just be safer to leave it off in case we want to check out those locked rooms later, which I know I totally do!
