I read ascending like Rin read it first: Ascending means it goes up, so if we start with A, we would work up towards E.

Ah, glad to have the cartographer and detective with us!

I do not know what to make of the loss of Izza and gain of Watts. I think Watts may have some helpful skills that we can make use of though. Let's just not let him assume command again!

Let's not just go rushing up those stairs just yet. I am still trying to catch my breath and assess our situation. Let me consult my research before we start moving about. Alright?

I have a couple of questions for the group as I attempt to regain my bearings. It says that B-4829 is "Phase 2", does that mean that each room results in the start of a new phase?

it means that well be going from one room to another during each phase switch nigga

So is there a time period for each phase? I did not see that listed in the update. Also, I take that to mean that people in the room cannot simply up and move to another room at any time they choose?

I apologize for my ignorance. I have been a recluse for too long and have forgotten some of the conventional wisdom I once possessed. I am a quick study though, and expect my knowledge to return to me much as that old saying "it's like riding a bike".

So has anyone exited up the stairs yet? We don't want to be the idiots who are waiting to follow someone who isn't going to move.

That is sort of what I was trying to figure out earlier. I think that we will all exit at the same time, no matter when the exit action is submitted. Someone can correct me if I have that wrong, though.

At this point, it looks like we will either all be staying in this room again for the next phase, or we will be exiting together up those stairs where we will be spending phase 3. Unless someone has a key up their sleeve?

We will all need to make that decision on our own. We won't be automatically moved. If someone chooses not to move they will be left behind. I um, think we need to stick together. Strength in numbers.

I don't have a key or a means to open either of these doors.

[ooc: in reading the gameplay manual, it seemed to me that because we are in a large group, if more than half decide to exit, then everyone will exit. And the same goes for if more than half decide not to exit]

Hmm, it seems I did read the guide wrong. Everyone will follow the first to exit or stay, if no one else posts any exit, stay or follow actions in their journal.

Apologies on my misinterpretation.

I had already entered my action to follow Captain O'Hara so that I could get an addition to his wonderful map! I didn't think about him choosing to follow me, though. In any event, i seems unlikely that is his action, so we should be good for the exit of this phase.
