Background:
Anna was born to an upper-middle class family in Ganymede. Throughout her childhood she would sit out and gaze over the busy streets, watching the people passing by. Figuring out who they were and where they were all going was her favourite pass-time. She went on to study psychology as a means to look into people more.

For Anna the prime interest was always in what made people tick. However work in psychology study was slow and so she moved into therapy. Watching people at their lowest point was again, a source of great fascination. She genuinely wanted to help them, but studying them was just a little bit more interesting.

She found stable employment aboard explorer shuttles, as the astronauts and explorers always needed somebody to unload to. This sort of thing meant they'd stay mentally stable which is a very important aspect of traveling through space in an enclosed capsule. She gained a reputation and began to pen novels on the psychology of explorers.

What really got her interest was a mission with a sense of danger. Most of them had been mundane up until now. It was during a stint at Europa Base that she noticed an opening to a mission with an element of mystery and fear to it. The crew of the mining vessel Dalia had all disappeared and a team was gearing up to investigate. Anna volunteered. Watching people in this situation would be too fascinating to pass up.
