If anyone wants to indulge in a little smoking or drinking feel free to join me in here. If we get enough people, I still carry around some cards to gamble with.

Truth be told, it was a barbaric thing they asked us to do, confining our smoking to a goddamned tiny room. As if we were some kind of lepers, some diseased animals needing to be quarantined lest we infect the rest with our hedonistic ways. Lindberg had his head so far up his own ass I'm surprised he could even walk straight.

It was a shabby looking room, and that's putting it lightly. Looked like the damn thing hadn't been used in decades. Cobwebs were everywhere, and the only furniture to be seen were an overturned coffee table and three chairs. Two chairs, if you weren't counting the half-broken ones.

In any case, I leaned against a corner and took another drag. Felt nice to clear my head a bit.

I will avoid the drinks and smokes, but do fancy myself a game of poker if anyone would care to join me :)

What kind of shit is this? That Lindberg forces us to come smoke in here, but how is it safe? It seems those in the main room can still hear what is being said, surely smoke can escape like the sound will.

My father could have provided a better ship for our travels.

The ship is fine. The shitty rules and minimal space is the problem.

What to you wanna play? I'm always fine setting up a two-person Blackjack game if nobody else wants in.

Thrice the size and stocked with the best food, drink, and smokes from across the solar system.

Alas, I shall enjoy the company of those in this room. The complaining will do nothing today.

I chuckled to myself as I realized that the smoking room was, in actuality, mere feet from the main deck. People were ducking in and out on a whim, and the whole thing seemed like a rather pointless formality. Convenient for the smokers, at least, and for that I was grateful.

I certainly wouldn't mind playing a hand or two.

Right, that's two for poker. Let's start up a hand of Blackjack, and let's keep it nice and cheap. 5 credit buy-in.

I had two in my jacket when I went to dinner last night.

*opens jacket to check pocket*

It seems Watts and I indulged ourselves at some point.
