Not much to put in here, honestly. I started to create this thread before we met the second group. I was going to quote all of the intro posts for everyone from my initial group but the thread was gone right when I went to get them for my notes. Bad luck. My note taking hasn't been great in previous installments, so I hope to improve that.

Mission Control @ 25/4/2015 15:34
Watts picked up the flashing comms device once more.

"Watts, we are stationed beneath your ship and ready to board."

Watts braced himself and headed down to the lower hull. He could deal with Lindberg. But the idea that they still had to do the mission at all was terrifying.

There was a click as the ship locked on. The lower airlock began to hiss. The connection was forging. Only a matter of moments. Watts rested against the wall as he awaited what would soon come.

Finally the airlock swung open. Lindberg climbed through the hatch and glanced around the room.

"You've gone too far this time Watts." He said sternly.

Watts actually nodded, to Lindberg's surprise.

"I agree. I think we should call the whole thing off."

Lindberg looked awkward.

"Well I don't have the authority for that."

This would normally cause Watts to sneer, but right now it just made him sad.

"How many are aboard your crew?" Asked Watts curiously.

"Eighteen persons active, plus myself, plus an Elias Baines who has taken himself off to the stasis pods. We are unsure why, but he is currently sleeping."

Watts rubbed his head. "So you're all boarding?"

"We are locked in now for the duration. The X4 doesn't possess enough fuel for the return flight. We had to over-use to make it to you in time."

Watts sighed. So much for jumping on the X4 and fleeing the hell out of here.

"How many on your...crew..."

Watts could taste the disapproval as Lindberg said crew.

"Me and nineteen other capable persons."

The sound of a baby's cry echoed through the chamber as Lindberg craned his head up to see.

"Well.." Watts began as he shuffled his feet. "I suppose you could call it twenty."

Phase 0 ` 1532

I did not get to grab the Mission Control posts introducing each civilian before the new thread began. I aim to do better with my not taking once we land and more notes are necessary. What has Watts gotten me involved with? Why did my drunken self join a mission to investigate the Dalia? I can not let the other know, but secretly I am quite scared of what we may encounter. Many of the others seems to have willingly volunteered....sober. They accepted their possible fates before this journey, while I am still coming to terms with everything.

I'm stubborn, confrontational, immature and rich. I'm also self aware. I don't expect everyone to like me, but I plan on getting my way. I know I rub people the wrong way, so I am trying to hold back slightly until we land. I can't let others form an unflinchingly rigid opinion of what an arrogant ass I am [It's true] before we land. I expect many decisions to be made in the coming days, and I want my voice to be heard. If they write me off before we even land, they will ignore my words and I will not be able to contribute or more importantly, lead. Money is power, and I intend to exert mine.

Phase 0 ` 1728

Transmission has been blocked, I fear things will only get worse from here. I knew I should have brought my universal com watch to the bar last night, my father upgraded it to avoid com-blockers. I expect we will be docked by 1930.

I only found myself on this mission this morning, so I seem to be behind on my preparation. However, these people who are insisting we stay calm are IDIOTS. Something is happening, and none of them seemed to prepare themselves by reading the mission notes. I looked over the transmissions received and one of them has a long list of binary and it translates to a message. How has no one pointed this out yet? How have none of the bots seen this message?

The binary translation reads:

"Planets are fun aren't they?
Friend or foe?
Please come and play with me.
I want to understand.
Life is so fragile isn't it?
Are you coming to visit?
I hope I don't have to hurt you...
Space is scary and quiet.
Why is the universe so lonely?
What kind of feelings do people have?
I want to create something.
I hope you can hear me.
I have no friends left any more.
They were too fragile."

This does not seem like a friendly message, but I do not feel like causing any panic this close to docking. I have a bad feeling about this entire trip, I just hope my money can keep me safe. I always find a way out of things.

Mission Control @ 26/4/2015 16:52
Watts had fallen asleep at the control again and missed all of the hubbub. He opened his eyes to see a green flashing light on his control deck. He rubbed his eyes and let out a yawn before turning to the well acquainted crew. Some were in the smoking room, so he picked up the intercom and called it through.

"Captain speaking." He said without much enthusiasm. "We're around 2 hours from the last know location of the Dalia apparently. Systems are picking up a lot of electromagnetic interference. It's kinda..."

He looked down nervously.

"I don't think I've actually seen this much interference on a mission to date."

This seemed to silence the crew.

"But yeah...I'm sure it will be fine...probably." He said weakly.

A red signal was flashing. Mission Control were trying to get in touch. Watts picked up the comms device expectantly.

"Yeah this is Watts? What's the problem."

"Mission Control to Shuttle serial 436164 7563657573. Do you copy shuttle?"

"Shuttle....in". Watts was damned if he was reading that number out.

"Mission Control to Shuttle serial 436164 7563657573. Do you copy shuttle?"

Watts was puzzled.

"This is Watts, reporting back in...."

"Mission Control to Shuttle serial 436164 7563657573. Do you copy shuttle?"

He glanced over at the screens and sighed. Percy came over curiously.

"You've got no outbound signal! The interference is jamming it."

Just what they needed. About to dock and they couldn't report back in. This would go down very well.
