Not sure how many spectators we'll have this time around. Haven't had many historically. A couple have expressed an interest and more might come along down the line. We'll see!
Even if it ends up just being me, I'll post my thoughts as the game commences because it's fun for post-game.
Kip's intro was wonderful and it's not getting nearly the attention it deserves. In general these pre-game threads are a bit quiet. I think people are still finding their footing and not knowing what to say/do.
Some big personalities. I split the two groups up based on which characters fit the bill most for "experienced" and which fit the bill for civilian. My hope is to merge the two when they're fully rostered in time for the end of the pre-game segment. That should lead to some good discussion.
Otherwise they'll get merged in Phase 1, during which they'll already be thrown in the deep end. It's less fun that way.
Kind of neglecting this because I'm doing other stuff and the meet and greet is fascinating.
The boarding shuttle group was a bit disappointing, though I'm a big fan of Dain already. I also like how meticulously Morwena is cottoning onto stuff.
Yeah. I really wish there was a simpler way to break it down but there's a fair bit of complexity to the game engine at this point. It's something best learned by example I think.
Typically it's just: pick an exit and see what happens. Some rooms will be traps which will have a negative effect on the first who enters, some will be challenges that force the whole group to do something and there are other rooms too.
It'll become a lot clearer once the game starts. Phase 1 is gonna be crazy though, I have something explosive planned.
