Background:
Misty is a young girl who is somewhat bored with life. Born on Ceres to a working class family, she didn't have a great education and dropped out of school fairly early on. When her working parents refused to pay for her to sit around the house anymore, Misty was forced to get a job as a fry cook in a fast food restaurant.

This was hardly a satisfying life and she would often get into trouble when she got bored at work and acted out. Despite her mood swings and occasional outbursts of energy, Misty tends to keep herself to herself, with very few friends. The people she meets quickly become unnerved by her behaviour and her tendency to go silent and stare blankly for spells only to have a sudden outburst and rush of energy shortly after.

Anybody who does get close to her discover a dark humour and mind behind the outer shell. In her spare time she draws disturbing cartoons and has a somewhat twisted way of laughing at tragedies. Her unpredictability is part of her nature, and this came through when she decided to up and leave her job for no particular reason. She hopped on a shuttle to Europa and when a stranger asked her what she was heading out there for, she just replied "ice is fun".

Despite this comment, she spent no time on the surface and instead got distracted by the story of the disappearing crew on board the Dalia mining ship. The idea of all those people disappearing into thin air was amusing to Misty, and she decided to go and see it for herself.
