Background:
Born way after his time, Francis carries about him the spirit of the 1950s. Raised as a child watching old movie reels, he was never quite able to cut it as a detective and eventually dropped out of work entirely after disagreeing with one two many managerial types who wanted things doing "by the book". His long suffering Wife Starla was forced to take a domestic job aboard the Dalia.

On the morning of the Dalia's ill fated voyage, Francis awoke in bed with a hell of a hangover and some no-name hussy laying next to him. Francis was meant to be aboard the ship as a civilian passenger but he'd missed it by a couple of hours. When he learned that all the crew including his beloved Starla had vanished on board, Francis grabbed his trusty trench-coat and fedora, determining himself to solve the mystery.

Signing up aboard Captain Watts' civilian crew, Francis hopes to find his beloved. It's his only chance at redemption and finding the woman he loves.
