Name: Captain O'Hara
Birth Colony: Ceres

Background:
As a self proclaimed adventurer extraordinaire, closer investigation of Captain O'Hara reveals a different case altogether. At first appearance he seems to be a well prepared and well traveled man but in reality has barely set foot outside of his own home. His passion for adventure stories began at a young age but never quite dwindled.

He was born on Ceres, the grayest and dullest of all the colonies. With an as of yet unfurnished world, his daily views consisted of a drab brownish grey rocky surface, artificial plants and the gunmetal grey of his space station home. O'Hara considered wandering through the local trading halls his adventure, although he never tried any of the colonial foods as they didn't agree with his stomach. He also visited them on no more than three occasions.

He would often sit and listen to his uncle's stories, an actual explorer who had been to all ends of the solar system. He didn't share the same relationship with his father, a working man who considered young O'Hara a fervent disappointment and he later grew up refusing to acknowledge his father's existence. His uncle however left his travel log to O'Hara on his passing, which he would use as a basis for his own stories, keeping it permanently in his breast pocket.

Eventually O'Hara decided it was time for a real adventure. He legally changed his first name to "Captain" and took a ship out to the colony which had the lowest crime rate, which was Europa Base. He found the space flight to be very unpleasant and nerve-wracking, vowing secretly to never do it again. However on arrival to the base, an argument with a gentleman officer in which O'Hara claimed to be just the sort of talent a daring mission required would somehow see him on another voyage, a decision he would fast come to regret.
