Arimnestos moved towards the door at the West. He needed to prove himself, well now was as good a time as any. He pressed the door release firmly and stepped out into the room beyond, stretching his arms as he went.

Darkness overcame him as he clanked across the red metal floor. So did the smell. This room had seen its share of death. Katy's corpse was lying in the middle of the room looking up at the ceiling. Her body was starting to rot a little now and the stench was quite unbearable. Maggots were crawling over her flesh. Arimnestos had seen his fair share of death and the aftermath so this was nothing new. But still, it was always troubling.

He moved out across the floor. The room in here extended to the West for twice the width of a standard room where it moved into an exit, and then on the Western side it moved South for twice the length of a standard room. There was a third exit to the very far South of it. On the Northern wall, on the Western side was a large metal door now opened with a yellow ring painted around it. Beneath it was one of the subway chariots on a track.

And not far, laying on the base of the Western door was another body. This one was Ajax. His skin was pale and white, his face contorted in anger and some fear. And he was facing up towards the ceiling. There were no visible signs of any contortions or wounds on his body anywhere. He seemed perfectly intact and untouched, save for the very real fact he was dead.

Finally as he walked to the middle of the room he noticed the third set of human remains. These were much older. A skeleton that had been around for a long long time. It was laying across the floor as he walked by. The others were slowly coming through and recoiling at the stench in here.

On one of the walls, there were two chalk messages scrawled. The chalk had faded a lot but it was still visible. They read:

"41: E
E HEAL"

Arimnestos was studying them intently when a red light appeared from nowhere and covered his entire body. Scrunching his eyes up at the brightness, he let out a roar as he was forcibly pulled upwards by the light. Then in a bright red flash, he was completely gone.

The others stared in silence.

It is now Phase 43. Phase 43 will end in roughly 24 hours from now.

I wanted to exit first this phase, too. Hopefully I can get redroomed and never, ever come back.
