Background:
Born as the son of a baker, Peter was gifted with a slightly wealthier upbringing than most of the other peasants living in the slums of Panem. When the king's guard came to the slums however, Peter was treated just like all the other peasants. Stricken away from his grieving father, he was forced to fight to the death with other children his own age. He rose above the challenge and eventually became champion.

Vowing to protect his friend and fellow combatant Katherine at all costs, he led a group to rise against the king and eventually overthew him, becoming a hero of Panem. Peter freed the rest of the slaves before heading out on a voyage with Katherine to explore the corners of the world.

Reason for Joining:
A hero's life is never quite settled. Occasionally word would reach Peter about a group of people that needed assistance. As a noble fighter, he would only help out if he believed in the cause. When Minos called his meeting of heroes, Peter was reluctant. Minos had a reputation for being a cruel king. But something about the mention of Willis made him unsettled and curious to investigate. With the support of Katherine, he finally decided to go along. It wouldn't hurt to investigate.
