Name: Boone
Background:
Boone is a seemingly ordinary chimp, albeit with an above average intelligence. One day there was a mysterious incident at a laboratory. Boone was first discovered by the authorities asleep in a farmer's barn some distance away. He was draped with a bloody and ragged laboratory coat, only bearing a name-tag with the word Boone on it. He eventually escaped from the custody of the authorities, roaming around and looking for food.

Boone displays an unusual aptitude, and as the years have gone on his intelligence seems to grow at an alarming rate. He also has an unnaturally large lifespan for a chimpanzee. He was able to escape on the dawn of darkness and has been wandering the caverns, begging for food ever since. It's unknown if Boone was responsible for the incident in the lab, a mere escapee or something else entirely....

Reason for Joining:
Boone has a high level of intelligence which grows day by day. It's hard to discern whether or not he has developed the power to reason, let alone what the reasonings might be. Maybe he's going to the meeting in search of food. Maybe he's going for some other built in purpose. Who can say for sure?

I...I don't actually have any fudge...but this is interesting...

*jots down in journal*

Boone, it appears that you are semantically finding meanings of words before learning how to pronounce them or checking their context...this research could prove useful once we get out of this labyrinth! This could lead to research of so many things, such as language development, infantile amnesia...Boone, you're a scientist!
