Silly theory time.

In the beginning, I was not afraid to get things wrong. And because of that, I got a lot of things right! Fucking time travel. I lol'd at myself when I was typing that theory out, but it was fucking right.

So, time for another theory, perhaps less fucking outlandish...

The guardians can only be accessed after we have completed another unwritten goal. So far, with each of our goals, we have had written instructions...

Find the sword, find the guardians, free the guardians, reach Willis's tower.

But usually in Labyrinth there is a part we have to figure out for ourselves (omg meta gaming!).

A puzzle which is left for us to be solved.

And in this case I think the puzzle involves the sluice winch/gate, and the waterways. They are big fucking features on the map, and I would be amazed if they didn't have a big role to play.

If I am right in assuming that these pipes have shown up near each guardian room, then what if activating the sluice and changing the current of the river allows the pipes to flow, and somehow gives access to the guardians.

SILLY THEORY time over.

In other news, I think the other group has been fucking compromised. I think my biggest weakness were scum have been concerned is that I have been too worried about keeping my own dark side under control, that I forget to look for the tell tale signs from other fucks.

Cassandra:

The bridge from South to North was still intact, extending for twice the length of a standard room. The exit at the far North was locked and there was another just East of it. Beneath the platform, the flimsy metal pipe curved in from the Eastern exit, extended South past their positions and moved out across the West over the void.

And on the far West, twice the width of a standard room along, they saw the small platform with an exit South and another West. In the middle, the large metal rotating platform was raised high above and unreachable.

If I am interpreting this right, to visualize this problem, it should look something like this...

Hm...I can't shake this pipe shit.

They are clearly a big deal. If I had my way, the group would be heading straight for the sluice controls. Fuck it, they don't want to. Been this close to a guardian, I don't blame them either. If we miss an easy entrance, we will regret it.

I have learnt not to fear death again.

Whilst I am no doubt valuable to the group, somebody has to do the things no one else is willing to do like exiting first into unknown areas.
