In a bid to stop being so anti-town before I know if I am antitown, I will go watch some disney movies to learn the importance of friendship and song.

During the scene where the civilians in his game were throwing a party while Ralph was all alone in the dump, lonely and depressed, I kept shouting WRECK THEM ALL RALPH. MAKE THEM RUE THIS DAY AND EACH DAY FOR THE PAST 30 YEARS. BURN THEM ALL.

But then in the end it turns out that its okay to be yourself and horribly unleah chaos and discord upon the world! All will be forgiven and forgotten and suddenly everyone will love you as long as you hide the mess in time! Breaking everything around you will lead to happiness! And its okay to be bad!

Thanks, Disney!

That was a fine movie, but the child should have died. The film would have been improved if she had. I will not make the same mistake. Hobert must perish.

...Perhaps I should have watched a different Disney movie.

The actual literal fighting over whether Theseus was an NPC is funny because of the fact that it was literal fighting. Over something as simple as that. What a mass of confusion and rage. I think it's a debate worth having, but I'm not totally concerned with who is or isnt an NPC. Also, the theories entirely miss that there is always the possibility of the player playing Theseus just being a dick. If I was a Theseus I would be a dick.

I'm not going to point out how dumb I think "We should have lynched Theseus!" is, though. If the town wants to think we should lynch the GREATEST HERO EVER KNOWN and let some random player have his sword, then... lol! Let them plan to try. I imagine if I'm scum that's a very good thing for me.

GODDAMNIT

I was making a list of my thoughts on each character and I was all the way down to parker when I got an IM from Alex (the real AlexORG) and everything crashed. THANKS ALEX.

I hope if he is playing I kill him most painfully.

Meh. The only important thing about Theseus was his sword. Anyone with that sword could do what he did...

And more.

I was going to add this:

On the other hand, after a guy magically appeared in a hurricane of purple sparkles then vanished back from wence he came, I think we should consider that there could be the possibility of one of us being able to move around like that. If there is an entirely different layer to the map, there is a good chance some people can use it

to my one post. But I decided that since I don't know my role yet and the time travel element was only added this round, It's possible that I'm describing myself. So in the interests of keeping my secrets to myself even though I don't know my secrets, I'm keeping quiet!

I am now vowing to be a kinder, gentler person and be more accepting of my fellow prisoners. Seeing Carl being a douchebag has made me vow to never be that big a douchebag. He has taught me what Disney could not. Bless his heart. After I stab it. 50 times at least.

This voice in my hread thing is worrying me. A lot. :(

On one hand, the message seemed to be hinting towards a pro-town win condition. On the other... I feel very, very unsafe now. And not knowing if this is my role or not... :( ugh. I think... I think I'm someone's puppet. Even if that's not my role, it's for all intents and purposes true with this, isn't it? I can't afford to not do what it says, and I don't know what I'm supposed to do otherwise, because I have no role or win condition. I don't have the information necessary to risk not listening.

Exitting first into a room that has already been deactivated, presumably, is okay. The idea of this happening again is not.

And how exactly could Eleanor exitting first cause 7 people to suffer?

And presumably whatever is compelling me will know if I rail against instruction.

On the other hand... what if they don't know who they were compelling? :\ And this is a test to see who rises to the bait?

I do somewhat believe Walton now, though... I will probe him however I can but I'll protect him too if someone pushes for actions against him.

I really really hope this doesn't turn into a win-condition sharing fest.

The groups were enthralled by the presence of more people, but it didn't do much to correct their predicament. The shades stood watching the conversation carefully as more footsteps rang out on the balcony above.

A horde of other shades milled down into the clearing. The shade general was still stood at the top, looking over.

"I said kill them! Now! Pin down the giant and the fighters and get on with it! Willis commands it!"

The shades dived from the balcony and more flooded into the room. Several of them leaped onto Stonehard Lee who swung his enormous fists in a flurry to try and shake them but it was no use. There were too many. They toppled him to the floor with a grisly thud. He lay there and looked up. They were all over him. A number of others were attempting the same thing for Balagor.

The general watched up above as he finally left the room. Even more shades followed in. The room was awash with an ocean of these monstrous creatures. There was no escape.

Shit.

Here's where things get a little tricky. The closer it becomes to being open, the more energy that seeps from it. The energy contained inside the box is so powerful that it distorts time and space...I believe that's right. It can accumulate and create a tear that will rip it apart at the seams.

I think you just witnessed that happening firsthand...

In any case, it must be on the cusp of being fully unleashed. Because something quite dramatic has happened. Two timelines have become...connected. Bear with me on this last point...

This place you stand was once the Labyrinth in Knossos. Some 2000 or more years ago, an army of heroes went to raid it because the sorceror Willis returned. Originally Theseus bested him and he was defeated...job done. But Willis built his fortress over the same place and when he bombarded Pandora with his magic it...took a little bit of him for itself...and it made a connection.

It created a link to the point in history where Willis was invaded by the heroes...and those two points in time are sort of...side by side now. Parallel...you might say. Think of it as two boxes, each containing a version of the Labyrinth in time. The walls of the two boxes are next to one another but...they're ripping open. So the heroes who were meant to invade and take on Willis in the past are now here...in the future.

That means they're not in the past to take him on. The consequences of something like that are...dramatic....

But the universe has some built in method of governing such messes. It took action immediately. It has trapped both versions of the Labyrinth in a sort of bubble...one that can't be penetrated from either side. They no longer exist as part of time or history...they're just floating on their own. That doesn't mean things are resolved though. If Willis opens Pandora, everything will be destroyed regardless.

I just wanted you all to know what was at stake in case you're getting selfish ideas. You can't turn back now. There is no back. The way you came in from has been destroyed. Until Willis stops using his magic and the box is recovered, you are stuck in this place with the two time periods side by side...forever....

Hopefully this explanation was the event necessary for us to all get roles! Maybe its not just me that's been waiting.

I can't shake the feeling that I'll end up with a win condition of "Open Pandora's box" because the world of Lab is cruel and it will be just my luck that I be tasked with destroying the world all over again. Right after the nice character moments at the end of the last phase made me reconsider my stance on wanting a scum role.

I absolutely stand by Ezra for the leader role. He's charming, intelligent, and all around a fantastic person. If I were to trust anyone, it would be him.

The smile I've had has not left my face for the past 50 minutes! I just keep grinning from ear to ear. All these elects and my role and :D :D :D

I'm really really happy to have the role I do! I like that I don't have a kill-em-all win condition but I'm still not town! It's nice going from a ??? to an unexpected role. I'm the misguided antihero! :)
