So I think Willis most likely has the staff. I hope it doesn't get chucked away or whatever. That would suck. I can't imagine if it was stolen how my advantage in the game (of giving me a public item) is really an advantage if a thief can steal it.

Hopefully someone (good) can reveal an item in hope of killing Carl. After how Dylan acted in Lab2, you can never be sure if Carl is just dumb but it is pretty scummy. I just hope to get the staff back. Its symbolically important for my character.

Maybe Rhea is grim?

Its amazing how much Roberts actions mirrors Carl's. I think good or evil, Carl has made a massive mistake. Too early if he is evil and too stupid if he is good.

Also not ruling out the possibility that it was non-staff travel. It wasn't mentioned I guess...

Its amazing how easily I have gotten away with my staff lies. My main point of it all was to discourage others to steal it although the one-shot powers was a bit messy... I just wanted to be leader as a personal goal. I used the fear tactics/"I am powerful" impression (successfully) to get it. Everything has worked out with the staff and I will just blame Carl/say he is lying about the one shot if it catches up with me. But only if I believe he is evil as that would certainly bury him.

So in short I believe the staff's use of putting me in a power position in the group has worked. I just want it back for symbolic purposes/its my precious. Power position in games like this aren't all that important but having a heavy influence over group decisions is important if I believe I am right/what I plan is right and with this power means I can influence the direction we head without role claiming and keeping the group safe.

I feel my path to redemption plan has worked very well and I am one of the more trusted people in the group so heres hoping this position will serve me well in the game.
