This is one of the biggest toss-ups in a while I think. Both for who's gonna win and who I WANT to win
Chiefs by a hair for both tho

It's OK.
A Lions fan wouldn't know what a sexy QB looks like.

49ers might have one of the few defenses that can slow down the Chiefs offense, so I think they win a close one 24-21.

If we did a sexy QB tournament, Joey Harrington is definitely a 1 seed. Hands down. |

You could be the Lions GM with the way you define sexy in a QB.

I think it'll be a really good game.
Final score Range is up to Reed and whether he plays it tight or opens it up.
I doubt they can get away with spotting the 9'ers 2 or 3 TD's before they figure it out like they have been doing, though.

I'm rooting for the chiefs because my dad and brother are lifelong fans. I'm not an NFL fan in general, but like to watch certain players. Mahomes is one of them. Sherman is another (He's slow, and has terrible fundamentals, yet he gets unbelievable results)
It's the first superbowl I have looked forward to watching in a long time. I love the way SF plays D, and the way KC plays O.

While I think it'll be a decent game, what I'm most looking forward to is an entire crockpot of cheese dip. And no, it's not the shitty flavorless cheese dip Arkansas is apparently known worldwide for (how, I have no idea), it's actual good queso dip.

What is your recipe? I'm going to do a velveta and rotelli tomoto dip with hamburger and bacon to make a bacon cheeseburger dip. |

The recipe is more along the lines of "throw stuff together", but here's a shot from memory.
Ingredients:
1 large box of regular velveeta
1 small box of mexican velveeta
1 lb hamburger
1 jalapeno
1 small can diced green chiles
Some salsa, onion, milk, and hot sauce
1. Make "taco meat" by sauteeing some onion and the jalapeno, then add the meat and brown, then add some taco seasoning (probably about half what you'd do regularly for tacos) and the can of green chiles. Cook together until done. If there is a bunch of grease, drain most of it off, as there is plenty of fat/oil in the cheese.
2. Cube up the blocks of cheese and throw into a crockpot. Throw that bitch on high, or it'll take an hour to get the cheese to melt down. Add in a "glug" of milk and a "glug" of your favorite regular salsa (my wife always has the chunky pace on hand). I HATE Ro-Tel canned tomatoes, as they have a metallic canned taste. Use actual salsa.
3. Add the meat mixture to the now-melting cheese. Stir all together and turn crockpot to low. After it's all melted, check for flavor and consistency. If you want it runnier, add more milk. If you want it spicier, add your favorite hot sauce (I like Cholula or Tapatio). If you want it more smoky, add in some cumin and/or ancho/chipotle powder.
4. Pour in a bowl and eat with a shit-load of Santitas tortilla chips.
5. If you manage to have any leftovers, put in plastic containers and reheat in the microwave with a splash of milk and a splash of hot sauce to loosen it back up.
You're welcome. | |
