Phyllis was finishing up before leaving for the day. After the shock of Pam being caught red-handed it was hard to keep her mind on her work. She was making a list of things to do, in no particular order:

- Go to the beauty parlor before account call tomorrow.
- Pick up an erotic cake.
- Spy on--

She was jolted out of her concentration by yet another person saying goodnight.


"Oh, goodnight!" Phyllis called out cheerfully.

"See you tomorrow, Phyllis!"


She watched the person leave... then her eyes narrowed. "Not if I see you first," Phyllis muttered under her breath.

She had a theory Pam hadn't been alone in her criminal endeavors - she had to have had accomplices. She had an idea of what she was going to do, but the trick was going about it without being seen. She put her list into her purse, grabbed her coat and headed out the door. The parking lot was dimly lit and she saw that her car was alone in the parking lot.

'Good,' she thought. She had a stop to make before she went home and she didn't want to be followed.

She got into the driver's seat and fastened her seat belt. "Bob Vance is always cautioning me on safety," she said out loud. She smiled fondly, thinking about her dear husband. "Here goes nothing," Phyllis said as she reached for her car keys to start her car - but the key didn't make it into the ignition.

There was a quick and sudden movement in front of her face right before she felt herself being forcefully jerked backwards. Her head was being pinned to the headrest as she felt something very tight around her neck. It didn't take long to come to the realization of what was happening to her. Someone was behind her and they were trying to choke her - they were trying kill her!

Her hands flew up to her neck as she tried to loosen whatever was around it. It felt like a belt and it was very tight - there was no room to maneuver her fingers underneath, but she kept trying. She tried to pull herself forward but the seat belt was holding her securely in place. She was growing weaker, she couldn't breathe or speak. She lifted her gaze to the rear view mirror and looked at the last face she would ever see...

She gave them a knowing smile before she closed her eyes.


Phyllis has died.

...with the remaining possible setup. But even then a power role is a power role in a setup like this.
