Even despite the unfortunate twists, that promo got me hyped again.

Hey you know what, as vanilla as Tommy was this is kinda nice:

Natalie is famously vanilla too. Maybe the lack of spotlight from idol hunting and prize playing and immunity winning is part of the reason. Certainly doesn’t help I’m sure

I didn't see the preview for next season. But I've read reactions. I'm sure it'll be great fun to watch. But so many pregame alliances. lol

I hate that edge is back. That sucks. Not surprising at all though since they’ll want their winners on screen all season, I just hate that it’ll take time away from what’s sure to be great gameplay. Edge is so boring

I may have rolled my eyes at the currency thing. But if it means they'll have to buy idols instead of finding them on their beaches in almost plain sight :P , then I guess it's a positive.

Had to pause in the middle but finished it up eventually last night. Was pleasantly surprised by the final council - it felt like the jury was really pleased with Dean's ability to get so many advantages and idols, but I suppose it came down to Tommy's social game - so maybe that just carried more weight with the jury.

Overall, I enjoyed this show. I don't know that I'll stay devoted to watch it all the time, but we'll see. My favorite part of the show was the challenges, and to a lesser extent getting to know the players. Fun to see that Sia gives money to players also? Felt great for Elaine, Janet, and Jamal!

I felt like the interview with Kellee was very well thought out, and important to let her speak about it. I feel so bad for her that it seemed like part of why she was voted off was because of all that. Dan is a schmuck, and I really hope that the show is able to put in better rules for kicking people out as soon as they cross the line.

Overall, it was fun, I would've voted for Dean if I was in the Jury I think, but Tommy or Noura would've been fine choices either. Fun game concept, with so many variables, that it's not a guarantee one certain strategy will get you the win.

If you like older challenges and characters watch some of the older (Pre 20) seasons. Challenges were a lot cooler and less strategy.

I remember loving the Australian Outback. I can't imagine watching it now. It'd probably feel like a completely different game.

Ok I haven’t read this thread yet but I did a complete 180 on Dean in the first five min of this episode and ended the season a huge fan. What an epic finale for him.

Noura is my queen though.

Dean telling Tommy he needed to poop and then going and finding an idol was my favorite moment of the season.
