Do you really wear shoes inside or is it just a meme?
If yes, why? | |

that's just speaking of my place tho. Otherwise it depends on the rules of each house, if they allow shoes I'll keep them on if I'm not staying that long

I accidentally answered this poll. But I said no.
There are far less germs and gross things travelling around on your socks than on the bottom of your shoes.

I take my shoes off but I have such poor circulation I have to wear socks or my feet freeze | Rodney is a great guy. Oops, nevermind he's a terrible human being.
He likes his sandwiches to be Turkey and Swiss. Triangle cut. Let vern have his crust. Poison the part Rodney eats.

I've been to houses where the owners will be like "no, leave your shoes on" to be polite lol for that reason and probably just in case they think shoes are more comfortable, etc.

Its very common in the south to leave your shoes on in the house. Growing up in Canada I never did and never really liked doing it.
I usually try to emphasize to guests with non verbal cues to take them off. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

From a comfort standpoint, I take my shoes off as soon as I can when I get home. However, during the winter, I'm pretty sure there is no longer any insulation below the place I'm living at, so the floors are essentially ice cubes, so I may keep my shoes on longer then.
So, for sake of the poll, since I do wear shoes inside on occasion, I'm the lone yes vote so far.

I prefer it if guests take their shoes off, but I generally don’t ask. Most people just do it.
It’s pretty common for guests to leave shoes on, though. | "All this from a slice of gabagool?" |

I take my shoes off... but I'd like to know what Dylan's "non-verbal" cues to his guests are.
Like, do you just stare at their shoes until they remove them?

I've got slippers for around the house.
I don't mind guests leaving their shoes on
