The atmosphere aboard the Galactica had changed since the declaration of martial law. Saul Tigh's marines had become more heavy handed. No one was safe from his scrutiny. Yesterday's events had not deterred the XO at all.
"Penner's death was unfortunate," Tigh had said. "But soldiers fall in battle all the time. That is the way of war. His sacrifice will not be forgotten."
One of the orders of the new regime had been to impose curfew upon the crew. Nobody was to be allowed out of their quarters at night, and anyone caught breaking this rule would be arrested on sight.
Mittens unwittingly broke this rule after falling asleep in his lab. Upon awakening and seeing the time, he panicked. He cautiously made his way out of the lab and headed down the dark corridors of the galactica for his quarters, praying he woudln't be seen by anyone.
As he approached the corridor that led to his room someone stepped out in front of him.
"Oh god!" Mittens yelled in surprise. "I'm sorry, I know there's a curfew, I...I fell asleep in the lab, silly me!"
The figure before him didn't respond, and seemed to be rather amused by the whole situation. Mittens suddenly recognized them.
"Wait a minute...I've seen you before, haven't I? Back on New Caprica before the...before....Oh my god!"
Mittens realized he was face to face with a cylon. He turned to run away, but he was immediately pounced upon.
"Please let me go! I'll do anything," Mittens pleaded.
"I'm sorry Mittens," the cylon agent replied. "We thank you for all the work you did for us, but you've served your purpose now."
Before Mittens could say anything else, the cylon agent snapped his neck.
Mittens has been killed.

Character:Gaius Baltar
Doctor Gaius Baltar is a brilliant scientist. He was seduced by Caprica Six, who manipulated his computer algorithms to disrupt the colonial fleet, which ultimately led to the destruction of the twelve colonies. Even though Baltar is appalled that it was his sexual folly that led to a holocaust, he is nevertheless determined to survive and keep this unintended treachery hidden.
Role:THIRD PARTY Survivor/Inventor - Every night, you may give out one of your inventions. They are as follows:
A: Walkie Talkies - Allows your target to open private communications with another player for the rest of the game
B: Gun - Provides your target with a gun which can be used to attack another play at any given time, day or night.
C: Cylon Detector - Gives your target an alignment scan which can be used on another player during a night phase.
D: Bulletproof Vest - Will protect your target from a single night attack.
It is now day 5. With 11 players alive, it will take a majority of 6 to lynch. Plurality is still in effect. The day will end at 9 pm Eastern, Wednesday.
