No one knew what to expect. They had violent nights. Calm nights. Nights of battle and peace. Alliances had been proposed and halfheartedly accepted. A few tried to pretend fun could exist in such a violent world. Families were still keeping to themselves, hoping that if they waited it out, everyone else would make a mistake first and they could be rulers of the rubble. But this was not a world for caution, but one for bold movement. The Lannisters were a family of boldness, stealing treasures off the battlefield while everyone cowered inside. Seeing this reward gone in the mist of the morning, they realized that everything was about to change.
