It's pine. The answer is pine. I'm thinking really hard about this one and, yup, it's pine. All three clues refer to pine. I think the two missing clues may have had something to do with pine as well. It's pine. |

Okay, if it needs to be addressed:
I mulled over whether to leave in green and evergreen. Yes, they're separate words with different meanings, but at the same time the entirety of one word is inside of the other and the point of the game is to not match words with your clues.
Unsure, I decided to consult with people that I have played this game with before and see what they thought. 3 out of the 4 thought I should redact the clues. With that in mind, and figuring that KC wouldn't really have that much of an issue guessing pine anyway, I decided to redact the clues.
Clues and guesses are different things so I'm not sure why they got compared, especially because I defaulted to the same conclusion on both (i.e. "close enough"). Death and Dead are both just variants on the verb "die" so I didn't think it would be fair to deny a point for that.
That being said, if anyone has any issues with the way I judge this silly game that we're playing for fun, please do let me know. I am trying to be as fair as possible. | | |
