The second day of school was just as stressful as the first, if not more.
You could cut the tension in the air with a knife and.. it kept most people silent for most of the day.
But towards the end of the school day, a group came together and focused in on one student: Merc.
Merc didn't have much to say in defense, just shrugging his shoulders and accepting his fate that this would be his last day in middle school.
Dragging his feet, he made his way to the front of the class -- a stray foot reaching out and moving in his path sending him flying towards the ground.
He lands on the ground with a thud, his hands catching his fall as he looks up with anger.
As he opens his mouth to speak, a familiar voice comes echoing through the speakers.
"Merc, please report to the principal's office."
Merc has been expelled!
