First I would like to thank everyone for playing. I know it wasn't the bestest of games but I enjoyed modding it for you. Everyone was pretty active as well, and I really appreciate that.



THE SETUP


I said this was a basic game, and it was to an extent. This was Spiders first game and I wanted to get her used to a lot of the basic mafia roles she will see, as well as, teaching her that being hand held by power role isn't always the best coarse of action. TIB's op MOD role was the key for that. Unfortunately it didn't play out like that. The set up was intended to have town fighting town and the tracker and watcher getting incorrect results. On top of that, the SK decided to go hugely pro town, made the game heavily skewed for town. That is my fault and bad planning. I should have seen that as a possibility. I also expected a blood bath N1 and N2 making the game last 3 or 4 days. Which was the outcome anyways.

I like the idea of a limited cop and vig by restricting them and dealing too much hurt to scum. Something I'll probably incorporate more of and test further in games.

My biggest regret was Rose's bus driver role. I should have swapped her and Josh and that probably would have made the game more even for the mafia. I tried to provide roles that made sense to the movie you were randomized with. I couldn't think of anything other then drunk for Rose, and I wanted Josh to be the only role blocker in the game so he could have a claim. That's also on me.

Again, thanks so much for playing. I did have fun and I'll definitely run more small games if you guys want. Maybe if Kyle comes back another "basic" game could be put together.

Only because you didn't try to find your traitor. Cards were highly stacked against. Also, the night TIB was lynched, if you guys were all on you could have run up Primate saving TIB and most likely won the game. I know you guys have lives, but that was the turning point in the game for sure.

I most definitely tried to win. After there were only 2 kills each night through the first two nights, I thought for sure there wasn't a Town Vig. At that point, it made sense to play as if I was a Town Vig. If Primate had literally been anything other than Town Vig, I would have won the game.

I suppose I could have killed Primate N2 instead of Curtis.

N1: I killed Mittens because I thought he was claiming a roleblocker role. If I had any clue he was a cop, I'd have done everything to keep him alive to clear me.
N2: I killed Curtis because he was an unknown (probably scum) and they needed to be knocked down one peg to keep things roughly equal. Plus, if he was scum, I could run with the Town Vig claim.
N3: I attackes JJ because of the Town Vig claim I was setting up, and she was one of the unclaimed.
N4: I killed Josh because I thought he was Town Roleblocker, and I needed kills each night and didn't want him to prevent that.
