Merc carefully adjusted his webcam, making sure it was orientated just right. It was important that it captured enough of his body. He proceeded to pull down on the top of his blouse a bit, but not too much.

Finally, he was satisfied and the camera started rolling.

"Heyyyy guys. Another fresh video for y'all. Today, I'm going to start by smacking some peanut butter." he whispered straight into the mic. He then produced a jar of peanut butter and took a big scoop.

smack, smack, smack, smack, smack. Merc happily sloshed the peanut butter around in his mouth as he practically swallowed his mic whole.

So preoccupied with his latest video, Merc was, that he didn't notice the stranger creeping into frame behind him. A kitchen knife gleamed in the light of Merc's computer screen as it drew ever nearer...and plunged straight into his spine.

"ahhhh! AHHHHHHH!!!!" Merc tried to alert the neighbors, but once he was in his content-creating zone, there was no snapping him out of it.

The knife was plunged into his back half a dozen more times before he crumpled to the floor and out of frame.

"Don't...forget...to smash that like button..." he trailed off sadly.
