I feel like the hunter only had 1 bullet in the original version of this question too, which made him even more useless imo.

The alligators are especially useless if you don't pick the rats. That's 1000 rats for each alligator. They're so low to the ground and would get torn UP

I would be tempted to pick the gorillas and bears just on the chance that I might see gorillas charging enemy lines on the backs of bears like cavalry moments before I died.

I picked wolves and hawks.

Wolves are the best team workers so they would win every option they outnumber.
Hawks get rid of rats (hopefully).

I was really tempted to go for the 10k rats for biomass alone but

I went with 50 hawks + 10 alligators. Any way I slice it I feel like I'm kinda fucked here, but I think this gives me the best chance. The hawks are a MUST and could easily take down most of the animals on the list. The alligators I threw in there cuz I feel like that's the one animal the hawks wouldn't be able to take down and they'd be able to chip away at some more of the land animals

I forgot to mention I would be on the top of a mountain, so the rats would be so scattered that the hawks would easily kill the few ones coming close to me at each time. ;)

You're underestimating the amount of rats, there are fucking 10,000 rats
You can have a protective circle of rats with a 0.25 mile radius around you, that's how many rats there are, they will bite their legs off before they can reach you.

We're talking about rats, not puny mice here.
